PERDÃO (PRÉVIA - QSB2 - XAVIER 2025)

Well this is random! While working on Smidereens, I went through a really gnarly breakup. So I decided to get over the cringe-hurdle that was writing serious music, as I've always wanted to make an indie project. Thus this album was born. I rushed it on purpose, and gave myself a strong deadline so that I'd have something drop during the Nectard reissue. I purposefully dove into a lot of clichés while writing it, and based a lot of lyrics off of Arcade Fire's Pink Elephant. Sound-wise it's akin to early Alex G. stuff, and I structured it like an alt-J album with intros and interludes. While some parts of it aren't as grand or full as I'd like, there's also charm in its simplicity. It was made entirely in what is essentially a shed in the woods. Enjoy.
