Echology:
Echology is a music producer and DJ, specialised in dub techno, ambient, deep techno, downtempo and akin genres. Because of his background as a bass player, Echology tends to favour productions with deep and emphasised basslines and puts major focus on rhythm. Working daily as a musician and sound engineer, Echology tends to experiment with sonics, tonality and rhythm in ways that overcome boundaries. He adapted an old school method of composing, using a mixture of hardware synthesizers and drum machines, guitar pedals, mixing console and DAW. Thus, his performances are never the same and each jam is unique and spontaneous.

'BrütqW8rk' opens the EP with a very atmospheric and attention-getting sound, characterized by a deep-seated bass drum and aggressive chords that create a sense of conflict. The tension lets up with 'Concr3tXplsn,' forming a deep, addictive groove. A higher melody introduced in the latter third elevates the mood, making it a standout piece. 'StructrALfrq' follows with daunting, ominous, and spooky elements, perfect for fans of serious techno moods. The energy builds through the break, maintaining a gripping intensity. 'M0n0l!th' strikes a balance between deep techno and tech, and can seamlessly fit into a house music set. It features an eerie underlying melody and a futuristic feel, evoking a sense of space travel. 'MetlPlexR' takes listeners on an uncertain yet exciting journey with circling chords. This low-tempo grinder is rich in tech and atmosphere, delivering a hypnotic experience.
