After releasing his debut single, Sam Island called on electronic producer Koresma to rework the heartfelt tune. Channeling the inspiration, the remix turns the original vocal into an airy, fresh electronic tune that gives a glimpse of Hope during the dark times. The remix features catchy vocal chops, lush synths, and a soaring violin lead.

A bit of background info about the track for anyone who is interested...
The track is named after the well known mountain Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka, which I visited and climbed earlier this year. When climbing it I recorded a lot of field recordings along the way, which ended up making their way in to this track, therefore it seemed fitting to name the track after it. The artwork for the EP is also formed from a photo I took in this region of Sri Lanka. I guess you could say I was pretty creatively influenced by my trip to this country. : )

So thankful to have the masters il:lo from France do a flip of my track "Canyon Walls" from the EP West. They brought a new sense of grooviness and depth to the song that compliments the original. The unique breaks and lush atmosphere of sound are sure to take you on a journey.

Eucalyptus is a collaboration with Asheville based artist named @marley-carroll. 

This song is special because it's one of the last pieces of music I finished while living in Asheville, NC before moving to Los Angeles. 

The name Eucalyptus is inspired by the fresh smell of the essential oil. The feeling of that smell matches perfectly with early Spring greens in Asheville and this song is a perfect compliment to the two. Fresh electronic vibes mixed with DJ scratching and electric guitar.

Downtempo electronic favorites Koresma & Northern Form (fka Andrew Rothschild) team up on a new collaborative single. ‘Alpine’ has an organic feel to the production, focused around overlapping guitar lines, which weave around layers of synthesizers, vocal samples, and atmospheric recordings. With both artists having a background in guitar, the track stands out as having a more guitar focused quality to it than others in the genre. A hypnotic and timeless treat, ‘Alpine’ fits in nicely alongside the producers contemporaries like Emancipator, Bonobo, and Tycho.
