After releasing his debut single, Sam Island called on electronic producer Koresma to rework the heartfelt tune. Channeling the inspiration, the remix turns the original vocal into an airy, fresh electronic tune that gives a glimpse of Hope during the dark times. The remix features catchy vocal chops, lush synths, and a soaring violin lead.

"Beacon" is chill track that's still suited for the dance floor from Koresma and @Skysia. The track started in LA mid pandemic and then was bounced around remotely and even was worked on by Skysia in his bus turned mobile studio. Wanting to give the track a human and emotional element, the producers recorded with a string quartet to bring in the last cinematic element.

Beacon - Koresma & Skysia

New single "Drift Away" featuring @samisland gives a fresh take on the chilled electronic productions of Koresma. The song features a strong male vocal from Sam Island, tightly woven guitar layers, and a driving beat to keep you going. The instrumental strips back the song and gives you an open canvas to paint your own sonic image to "Drift Away".

Collab with buddy Good Lee and I. I hope you dig it as much as we do! 

We named it 24 being there is 24 hours in an day. Everyone shares the same moment yet we all experience completely different realities.
This song is a metaphor for that. How 2 people on opposite sides of the world can do completely different things, taste different foods, be in different climates, go to different jobs. Yet, at the end of the day, Good Lee and I both sat down with the same song and created something mutual.

Downtempo electronic favorites Koresma & Northern Form (fka Andrew Rothschild) team up on a new collaborative single. ‘Alpine’ has an organic feel to the production, focused around overlapping guitar lines, which weave around layers of synthesizers, vocal samples, and atmospheric recordings. With both artists having a background in guitar, the track stands out as having a more guitar focused quality to it than others in the genre. A hypnotic and timeless treat, ‘Alpine’ fits in nicely alongside the producers contemporaries like Emancipator, Bonobo, and Tycho.

“That Vibe” is the first single from Koresma and Matt May’s (@mrmattmay) upcoming collaborative EP called “Set Us Free”. The lush and soulful tune serves as a solid introduction into the unique blend of sounds the producers make when working together. 

The producers met while both living in Asheville, NC through a local music series called Beat Life. After creating a series of ideas in Asheville, both Koresma and Matt May relocated to California in summer of 2019, Koresma in LA and Matt May in the San Francisco Bay area. Over the course of the next year the producers would link up between the two cities to hone in the sounds of the “Set Us Free” EP. 

While Koresma and Matt May never meant for the EP to have so much significance in the title, after living amidst lockdowns and a global pandemic, “Set Us Free” couldn’t be a more relevant.

Koresma creates a blend of chilled electro-acoustic music centered around a strong drum groove. Inspired by landscapes and their influence on sounds, Koresma just finished working on a four part album based on the theme of a compass. The frour EP's, East, West, and North and South are out now!
