I import the audio files into pro tools and then usually load a processor of some kind (compressor, desk, reverb etc) on the stereo master buss. This is configured to colour, shape the sound.

The new material features the band not only doing what they do best  - singing songs about feeling low and getting high - it sees Sticky tighten their focus, and songwriting, and come up with a bunch of  psychotic surf dub love songs. 
They have turned up a bunch of songs about the bands four members recent break ups (this band breaks up in cycles apparently). Co-incidence? We're not really sure. Shortly after the band started touring each of the members went through a break-up and this bunch of songs tells the story (albeit through glorified glasses). The release continues the development of their charismatic genre mash sound. Psych, surf dub garage: Caress your Soul smashes it all together.
