Northern Californian composer/pianist Telemakus new LP ‘The New Heritage’ has finally arrived. This incredible body of work showcases Telemakus genius as a completely self taught instrumentalist and bandleader, showcasing highly creative composition and arrangement and resulting in an inspired record tackling themes of exploration, wonder, and innocence. This album’s foundation lies at the intersection of jazz and hip hop, playing into the heritage of jazz-sampling artists who turned their hands to instruments and discovered new musical dimensions and complexities. Featuring producers and musicians from 11 different countries, Telemakus sought out to create the most seamless body of work possible with a focus on maintaining a live sound, working tirelessly from his own bedroom over the past year and a half writing melodies, arranging instrumentation and communicating with his friends and collaborators, including CARRTOONS, Corydrums, Chino Corvalán, Javier Santiago, Thomas Pridgen and more. I wanna say big up to everyone listening to my music. These past 5 years have been a crazy journey and I am honored and grateful to have had this amount of support, really means the world to me. I will continue to make this type of music and hone my skills the best I can. I have a lot of unreleased projects in the vault, which I will try to put out later this year and at the beginning of next year. 
So expect a lot of new stuff coming from me! Just trying to balance real life and this music thing, something I can definitely improve on, haha.
