Sara Simms’ "855" is a minimal, melodic composition that’s sure to work its way onto dance floors around the globe. On "855", Sara pairs a punchy techno kick with a classic TB-303 acid line, and melodic phrases made with Korg’s M1. 

"855" is the eleventh release on Sara Simms’ label Simmetry Sounds. When asked about the track’s title, Sara comments, “the number 855 symbolizes major changes and significant choices in life. When I finished the session for this track, it was 8:55 pm. Later on, I discovered the number had a deeper meaning and decided to keep it as the track’s title.”

Best known for her techno sets and production skills, Sara is a multi-instrumentalist with a love for music technology. As a DJ, she's played sets for Paxahau, Allen and Heath’s live broadcast at ADE and Miami Music Week, at Charivari Detroit, and at Techno Taco Tuesday for MNTRA in Las Vegas. Sara has created projects together with Mixed In Key, Native Instruments, and 6AM. As an educator, she's put on production workshops with Point Blank, BIMM, Moog Music Inc, IO Music Academy, and Femme House.  S

Sara's label Simmetry Sounds is focused on releasing cutting-edge techno and house. Her career highlights include: playing at Ultra Music Festival (Miami), appearing on DJ QBert's Skratch University, and playing at AIR (Tokyo).

We are ready to present you our next project called HEIMISGARØR Podcast! It will be a series of Podcasts hosting talented Hypnotic Techno and Hard Techno DJs from all over the globe. Today we start with the co-founder of this label I-K-O aka. Jaka.

I-K-O is a Techno producer and DJ from Slovenia. 

He started producing electronic music in 2014 and DJing a year later. His passion grew increasingly sophisticated until he fell in love with Techno. I-K-O's tracks stand out from other artists through his unique style, which he changes from time to time. His release on DSR Digital called "Forbidden Industry" charted #1 on the Beatport Hard Techno Tracks Chart, which propelled him through the Techno scene and opened a lot of opportunities for him. His tracks are often featured on the Hard Techno Tracks Chart as a result of his success and are played by famous DJs like NUSHA, AIROD, and D.A.V.E. The Drummer, SPFDJ and many many more!

I-K-O co-owns a label with Dom3n, which goes by the name HEIMISGARØR. They strive for new creative ideas in the Hypnotic, Raw and Hard Techno scene.

I-K-O also has his own monthly podcast on Youtube called "Emmulsify" in which he mixes his favorite tracks of that month.

HEIMISGARØR Podcast 001 | I-K-O

Korpus 9 meets Colombian master of experimental techno better known as Gotshell previously released on such labels as Planet Rhythm, Sleaze Records, Suara, and now breaks into business without knocking on the door with exceptional EP called Lost Gateway. 

It all starts with heavy kick of Gate one accompanied by a static acid bass line bringing a portion of serious character to the storytelling. As soon as we hear some truly experimental stuff with maddening vocals and breath of unidentified human being on one side and trippy acid deforming line from another - that's Gate two for sure. Gate three lands us a little bringing Eastern meditative sounds deftly engineered with fine airy synthline. Last but not least Gate four sums it up with crazy set of sounds skilfully connected to each other turning into a full-fledged techno track. Exclusive cover complements and further describes these underground compositions.

Definitely crafted to put in a bag, from Korpus 9, with love!
