"Spherical" – the eagerly anticipated debut long-player from multi-faceted Spanish producer, DJ and label boss Ian Axide – will be released on June 29, 2020 via his very own Emphatic Records imprint. 

A career-defining moment for the now London-based artist, the ten-track Spherical opus marks Ian Axide’s most extensive and innovative body of work to date and pertinently showcases the inexhaustible creativity of one of the most prolific acts in underground techno right now. 

Known for his highly experimental soundscapes and hard-hitting atmospheres, Ian’s uniquely underground treatment across the entirety of "Spherical" is both wonderfully dark and hypnotic, whilst maintaining the impressive quality of engaging the listener from the very start. Complete with incredible complexity, energy and intricacy across its ten-track duration, Ian capitalises on his innate ability to draw you into a dark, industrial construct, as he explores a remarkable array of timbres from across the techno spectrum.

Hailing from Budapest, Steam Shape make their OFF Recordings debut.

The title track „Freefall“ is an apocalyptic peaktime bomb; heavily distorted vocals laid on top of a relentless groove.

„Power Of Imagination“ also features an infectious vocal, paired with distorted synth stabs.

The third original „Mass“ follows up in similarly energetic fashion, replacing the vocal with equally effective synths.

OFF mainstay Toni Dextor offers a remix, taking a no-nonsense-approach in his unforgiving dark and toolish style.

Polish, rather new to scene, but extremely talented project Random Sequence originally from Gdańsk debuts on Korpus 9 with an outstanding in every sense EP called Nitrogen Capsule. One by one all five tracks are composed into a complete masterpiece which consists of both action thriller and space adventure and combines into breathtaking science fiction genre. Beginning from daring Vocal Tool we can identify confident hard signature kick wich will follow us throughout most of the release ending with Off enriched with bassy percussion and singular mysterious string pad on the top. A bit of cosmic obscure drama awaits us in Y567 smoothly shifting to Departure wich moves deeply into hypnotic farewell ambience.

Another perfectly assembled EP from Korpus 9 worth having as a main course.

When it comes to a vivid forceful style with a ripping hard kick, we usually talk about KUSP. After a successful debut as a compilation participant, the UK duo returns to Korpus 9 this time with a striking four-track EP. Twisted opens this pleaure capsule and clearly explains what the next power wave awaits us. Since Theo Nasa is marked as featured artist in the second track - we don't expect Gettin' Deep to be less than a 'Bomb' for sure. The energy reaches its highest point with those trippy vocals going and early 00's synthlines. Then goes Phase 303 with classic TB-303 machine in action and dramatic pad on top. Breathe summarizes all we heard before into a broken beat cake with creepy vocal track inside of the mix.

Guys jump up hight and this EP strongly enhances their techno scene position and Korpus 9 Family status.

Jorge and Natan have had a life of experiences together and from the very beginning, they were passionate about experimentalism in its totality. They entered the underground electronic scene with no introduction and got to know each stage intensely, until they were part of this movement completely. This project creation is based on a passion coming directly from the tracks full of noises, unexpected sounds, and obscure structures. Jorge has eccentric and striking features, from his fixation on distorted and frantic sounds to brutal and violent beats. Natan, on the other hand, is impressed by the unique, by the interruption of very high beats full of strength with deep, immense breaks and dramatic melodies. The combination of these two different personalities, results in an intense experience that promises sensations that vary from the highest level of aggressiveness to the total exemption of any noise. Being part of the scene since its first stages, both of them contribute intensively to the Dark techno scene of the southern region of Brazil (Santa Catarina). In addition to being involved with all the cultural movement above, today they are also co-founders of the Phobia Project nucleus.
