It is my great pleasure to announce the 15th episode of Nachtblumen courtesy of Hüseyin Evirgen also known as Magna Pia. He is one half of Cassegrain, and is working on his own solo material as Magna Pia since 2016.

He studied composition, piano and electronic music at the University of Istanbul and Mozarteum Salzburg. He has composed music for theatre, dance performances and mixed media for almost two decades. 

As Magna Pia, Hüseyin Evirgen focuses on providing combative dance floor trips and unorthodox sonic moods with subtle 90s techno references while he keeps his interest in combining contemporary techno music with archaic symbolism. His solo releases include EPs on Soma Records, his debut album on Feral Note and his solo release on Arcing Seas.

In his set for Nachtblumen, Hüseyin delivers a very dynamic and diverse story, in which one can clearly hear how perfectly in control he is of every element. This hour is a great representation of what I love about the sound of Magna Pia – it’s deep, dark, emotional, driving and it can hypnotise you into a relentless state of dancing for your mind and body. What started out as something we do for fun quickly turned into a channel through which we can share our passion for electronic music. We had no idea that more than 5 years later we would've hosted so many amazing artists, and even more amazing human beings. This live set was played two times in Kyiv first at my friends wedding party and then later at the now closed club Bunker in Kyiv, really crazy times! that wedding party was held in an abandoned government building with incredible artists participating. I was also on LSD while playing both live sets, somehow i can hear it hehe..

Fabian Kempe aka Korridor is in the business of creating passages – both for himself and those who come in contact with his music. With highly acclaimed releases on Hypnus Records, Nordanvind and Northern Electronics over the last few years, Korridor has swiftly become a household name in the European electronic music scene. However, Fabian Kempe is by no means a novice. He has been active within the music scene as a producer under various monikers for over 12 years. The paths have been winding but they all lead up to the defined philosophy of Korridor.

Oisel is a young artist from Italy. He introduces abstracted, plangent and marked sonorities, researching the purity of each sound;  he blends modern and old-school elements, respecting the past and proceeding to the future, into a dynamic evolution of his musical identity. He is co-founder of Evod Music; besides the releases on his label, he released also on Polegroup, Warm Up, Arsenik and Singular Records. During April 2017 he made his debut at Tresor (Berlin), also he played at Moog Club (Barcelona), Utopia Club (Madrid).

British-born and now Berlin-based producer and DJ Pris, has been carefully carving out an exciting and unique space for himself within the techno circuit.

 Pris, one of the highlight artists, who releases his music on labels such as Semantica, Avian, Non Series and his own projects Resin and Emphaty Corporation.

His music has been supported leading DJs including Shifted, Ben UFO, Surgeon, Anastasia Kristensen, Zenker Brothers, and Mary Anne Hobbs.
