This live set was played two times in Kyiv first at my friends wedding party and then later at the now closed club Bunker in Kyiv, really crazy times! that wedding party was held in an abandoned government building with incredible artists participating. I was also on LSD while playing both live sets, somehow i can hear it hehe..

Michal Jablonski comes from Warsaw / Poland. He played at all of Poland’s most important venues for electronic music. Michal’s productions were released on Secret Keywords, Circular Limited, Counter Pulse, Trau-ma, Blackwater, Somewhere, Minicromusic and many more. Within the last years, Michal proved that the scope of his interest and production ability reaches much further than just one genre. He experiments within a broad spectrum ranging from dubstep and drum’n’bass to house, minimal, ambient and his beloved techno. His style in techno can be described as raw energy which sometimes contains the background noise and ambience characteristic for dub techno and industrial off-beat techno . Michal  is currently a member of the collective „SLAP” which is very acctive in Poland.

Reclaim Your City 247 | JK Flesh (Birmingham)

Justin K. Broadrick’s output is an intimidating one. He began, aged 15, with the recording of his first and last record with Napalm Death. From there he formed pioneering industrial metal group Godflesh. He also met Kevin Martin, AKA The Bug, and began experimenting with everything from dub and techno to hip-hop, breakbeat as Techno Animal. Together they produced four albums, plus a collaboration with Porter Ricks.

JK Flesh debuted in 2012 with the album ‘Posthuman’ on 3BY3, but it’s lineage can be traced right back to Kevin “K-Mart” Martin and the pair’s psychedelic industrial techno project, The Sidewinder, which was picked up by Mille Plateaux in 1996. The studio pet-name would later become his alter-ego, as Broadrick explained to Resident Advisor in a 2012 interview: ” JK Flesh is the angry, hateful, disenchanted side of what I do with electronic beat-driven/bass-driven music.”

There’s been the stinging ‘Worship Is The Cleansing Of The Imagination’ since, a split with Prurient, and this year’s ‘Suicide Estate’ EP on Hospital Productions. Electric Deluxe had the honour of bringing the next JK Flesh album kicking and screaming into the world – “Rise Above” was released in June 2016, and displayed a move towards a new form of sludge industrial techno. Legendary techno label Downwards, put out the ‘Nothing Is Free’ 12″ single next, complete with Surgeon remix. Forthcoming releases on Hospital Productions, Downwards and Inner Surface, besides others, are next to come in 2017.

“The Brummie noise legend returns. It was only a few days ago that we were treated to Justin Broadrick’s ‘Nothing Is Free’ EP, a short 12′′ under the JK Flesh moniker that saw him team up with industrial techno don Surgeon. Now, Broadrick has revealed his latest full-length statement in the shape of sprawling 2LP Rise Above. The album will be released on Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe imprint, and continues Broadrick’s recent excursions into the dark recesses of club music. The doomy, distorted grind of Godflesh and Jesu is certainly still present, but woven into a wheezing 4/4 template that doesn’t sound a million miles from Andy Stott’s patented “knackered house” or a Surgeon record on the wrong speed being played through a broken car stereo. Described by Resident Advisor as a ‘real one-man institution of the Polish electronic music scene’, there is no denying that Dtekk is an integral part of the thriving and increasingly influential Polish techno community. His relentless activity and insatiable passion has seen him co-found Poland’s infamous Technosoul label which has been running since 2005, in addition to being the sole founder of Up To Date Festival. His activism and influence have not gone unnoticed abroad, leading to a watershed moment in his career in which he was invited to play at Hospital Production’s 20th anniversary event at Berghain / Panorama Bar last year. The multifaceted approach of his vinyl only sets sees him delve into a kaleidoscopic range of entrancing techno sounds in which the listener finds himself in an interminable and hypnotic journey. Needless to say, we are extremely excited and proud to be bringing Dtekk to London for his UK debut on the 25th of May !

Fabian Kempe aka Korridor is in the business of creating passages – both for himself and those who come in contact with his music. With highly acclaimed releases on Hypnus Records, Nordanvind and Northern Electronics over the last few years, Korridor has swiftly become a household name in the European electronic music scene. However, Fabian Kempe is by no means a novice. He has been active within the music scene as a producer under various monikers for over 12 years. The paths have been winding but they all lead up to the defined philosophy of Korridor.

In the strange times when there's nothing and no one to turn to, you can always turn to the sea. No matter how far you are, or how bleak the future seems – it always moves, slowly yet surely washing the lands, cleansing of sorrow. Close your eyes and here it is, calming the restless mind, whispering a lullaby, a lullaby you can dance to or lie down to. Piercing through isolation the sound of the sea is omnipresent.
