Crimson Sounds is an Irish based Music Production Facility.   Working in Multiple Genres, Crimson Sounds produces a variety of musical styles, some of which are featured here on Soundcloud.

I'm a Dublin based multi-instrumentalist musician and have been playing piano since 4, and many of the others shortly after that.  Recording & Producing since 16 and jumping between different genres frequently.  

I'm planning to build a catalog here as I've a tonne of "unfinished" work - that is to say, most people think they're finished, but me the tortured artistic soul is not happy.

The Why Project:

Creates music that sounds like marshmellow atrocity.

Is a virtual group, who currently hang out in Belgium, with mixergod® as the only constant member. Projects are initiated by mixergod®, who also functions as engineer/producer on the group's efforts.

Has full time access to a well specified hybrid analogue/digital recording studio (@characterstudios.be): A great mix of vintage synthesisers and vintage recording equipment is coupled to a digital sequencer and multi-track environment. 

mixergod® is an audiophile, with a passion for good sounding music and beautiful sound in general.

Continuously searches new ways to create music, be that through (online) collaboration, programming software to algorithmically perform some of the composition, 'live' studio sessions, or other means.

Is inspired by artists like Autechre, Kraftwerk, Orbital, Aphex Twin, Depeche Mode, but also by less 'electronic' ensembles like Joy Division, The Cure, The Sound, Bauhaus and Sonic Youth.

El Grey is an act that can give you goose bumps and can put you into a dreamy mood.  Compared to Massive Attack, Bjork or London Grammar fused together, she is a unique alternative mix of dream rock, acoustic minimalism, electronica, trip-hop, ambient and jazz.  Active since the end of 2011, El Grey is gradually revealing her ‘self’ more and more..
