Arian Hagen (* 07.01.1994) is a composer/producer from Halle (Germany). His sound is a mix between classical pieces and atmospheric electronic compositions. Influenced by musicians like Radiohead, Massive Attack, Burial, DJ Premier, Flying Lotus, Clint Mansell and Philip Glass (etc.), Arian composes emotional and atmospheric pieces of music. Typically you will hear him lay down slow and driving drumbeats with precise additions of textured electronic sounds as well as live instruments and field recordings. He also likes to compose solo pieces for his main instrument, the piano. Arian likes to treat his music like a diary, capturing his emotions and experiences in sounds. The visual aspect of his music is also important to him and always on his mind while producing. After sharing his music on Soundcloud he quickly got a following. Later he was chosen as the "Soundclouder Of The Day". 
In 2013 he released his first album ("The Meaning Of It All"). It features some of his Soundcloud friends and an artwork by the indian 
artist Archan Nair. 

Between 2013 and 2018 he concentrated on producing conceptual EPs.

In January of 2019, he released his second LP "An Oasis Within The Chaos"

Recently he produced two tracks on Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire's self-titled album and his third studio album, "Balanceakt".

Slumberland began operations in 1989 as a collective effort consisting of members of DC area bands Velocity Girl, Big Jesus Trash Can/Whorl, Black Tambourine and Powderburns. We were inspired by such musical happenings as C86, early Creation, Postcard, K, Bus Stop, lower East Side noise, and also the renegade art aesthetics & methods of people like Cage, Burroughs and Duchamp. The explosion of punk had left behind a thriving network of 'zines, labels and distributors and we felt that there was room for our noise-loving, pop-obsessed aesthetic. While there were loads of US indie labels releasing a steady stream of 7"s, there wasn't much pop going on. Notable exceptions included Bus Stop, K and Picture Book, and we hoped to join that group and help chisel out some space for melodies amongst the noise.

Early releases from Velocity Girl, Whorl and Black Tambourine struck a note, and we found like-minded popsters getting in touch from all over the world. As we expanded the label roster and our own horizons, the goal was always to share great songs and interesting sounds from a range of styles. Our first burst of activity through the 1990s and early 2000s brought seminal records by legendary bands like Stereolab, Rocketship, The Ropers, Lorelei, The Aislers Set, Hood and Boyracer.

By the mid 2000s we were seeing a resurgence of interest in guitar pop and the start of the ongoing vinyl revival: the perfect environment for Slumberland! We launched into our latest phase of activity with as string of classic releases from The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, Crystal Stilts, Frankie Rose, Veronica Falls, Allo Darlin', Joanna Gruesome and so many more.

2025 is our thirty-sixth (!) year we are still at it, ploughing our own furrow and bringing you unique, genre-defining (and genre-defying!) releases from bands like The Laughing Chimes, Humdrum, The Cords, Autocamper, Jeanines, The Umbrellas, Neutrals, Artsick, Kids On A Crime Spree, Papercuts, Lightheaded, Tony Jay, Chime School, Lunchbox and many, many more. Indie fashions come and go but we're still thrilled by great songs and the new ways that pop can be rejuvenated to fit the times.

Sudden Weather Change is a four-piece band from Iceland who have been active in the Reykjavik music scene since 2006. They met during their college years where they studied visual arts, which would later become one of the key elements of their music styles. Their sound is best described as loud, dark, atmospheric and fierce. They embrace elements of the 90s alt-rock aesthetic, turn up their guitars and show no mercy when it comes to feedback.   The goal was to make rock music but lately the band has found itself exploring more territories by expanding and collaborating with various groups and composers. 

The band is currently in the throws of releasing their second LP titled “Sculpture”, a process that started in the Greenhouse Studios in the summer of 2011. The band, along with two producers/composers Ben Frost and Þorbjörn G. Kolbrúnarsson continued working on the ever-expanding soundscape the band has organically developed into. You can look at music as an atmospheric force that changes with experimentation and sensation at any given time. 

In 2010 Sudden Weather Change were awarded an Icelandic Music Award for best new act, so now is the time to put the accolade to good use. Consisting of four firm friends the band is an ever evolving creature ready to really give this whole music thing a kick up the arse.
