Auto denominado un creativo multimodal, curador musical y alquimista de sonidos, su aproximación sui géneris a la música le ha brindado la oportunidad de crear una entidad abstracta pero bien definida que ha logrado sembrar en más de 10 producciones bajo el nombre de Markyño, discípulo del maestro Jorge Reyes, re descubre en estas fusiones sonoras una línea clara entre lo sacro de la música precolombina y la posibilidad infinita de fusionar con distintos ritmos, instrumentos y melodías. 

La inquietud por seguir experimentando lo llevaría a desarrollar su propia huella sonora con sus aportaciones semanales que se transmiten en la radiofrecuencia del 105.9fm de Puebla, mejor conocido como Radio Huarache, abriendo así canales de acercamiento con músicos de la talla de Tribu, Luis Pérez Ixoneztli, Lila Downs, Ruben Albarrán, Humberto Álvarez, entre muchos otros. 

En este relato nos comparte su aproximación a las nuevas generaciones de productores mexicanos y sudamericanos de la escena fusión electrónica.

This set is very close to our hearts. It was the first time Ali joined our family. We gave him an early morning opening set of the mainstage. This time is challenge for any musician. You need to find the delicate balance between slowly waking up the crowd as well as getting them in the mood for yet another beautiful day ahead. 

He killed it.
We recall that we woke up from this incredible selection of tracks not immediately know who was performing at the time. He will be back. Not on an opening hour but somewhere somewhen we can shine a light on this incredible star.

The rāga saga is a seriesthat acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "color the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) is by the very very tasteful and hugely popular Lars Middlehoe aka @disfunctional_disco

Hailing from Copenhagen Denmark, Disfunctional Disco has been a key player in the Copenhagen house scene for many years now, both as a DJ, playing all venues in Copenhagen, and all over the world, alongside many of the top names in the scene, but also as one half of Kulturshot, who has brought many legendary parties to Copenhagen, Geneva and Paris.

Teaming up with long time friend Be Svendsen, working alongside his team, he has a stronger bond than ever to the music scene.

kosha (Sanskrit कोश, IAST: kośa), usually rendered "sheath", the covering of the Atman, or Self. 

kośa is a soundsmith who brings you a flavour mixing - downtempo, acid house, minimal//deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other Ethnic influences which we beautifully term 'spiritual deeptech' a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India's underground scene.

ॐ//om -The great primordial sound, the original sound from which the universe was created, the sound of all sounds together. According to Hindu metaphysics everything is made of sounds (vibrations), since everything is sound, healing through it, is an ancient ritual, as sound is not only heard through our ears but vibrates within every cell of our bodies.

For us at kosa records this network gives space to connect ideas of various forms to do art for art's sake - not for social recognition. to break the rules of systematic exploitation of the artist's energy and to feel the soul in synchonicity.

We consumed too much music and it started to leak and this is when kośa evolved into a record label in January 2019 with the release of their first various artists compilation Mīmāṃsā, though the real beginnings were with our Podcast series the raga saga https://soundcloud.com/kosamusica/sets/the-raga-saga where in we showcase an hour of beautiful music from our favorite artists from around the world.

50% of all proceeds are donated to Pawbro India Foundation that aims at feeding stray dogs and other animals in Pune, India, feeding over 150 strays everyday. Part of the artists’ stream shares are directed towards these efforts.
