Le groupe est formé en 1981 par Beate Bartel (Mania D, Einstürzende Neubauten) et Chrislo Haas (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) ainsi que la chanteuse Krishna Goineau. Dans le cadre de la scène Neue Deutsche Welle (Nouvelle Vague allemande) ils ont été les pionniers de l'electronic body music.

Après avoir enregistré quatre cassettes de dix minutes, ils ont sorti leur seul album en 1981. L'album Liaisons Dangereuses a été mixé au studio Conny Plank à Cologne. L'album contient le single Los Niños del Parque (en français: Les enfants du parc), qui est devenu un succès underground et a été cité comme influence cruciale par des DJ de la techno de Détroit, et de la Chicago house.

Le groupe fait plusieurs apparitions en direct tout au long des années 1981 et 1982, et ils sont parfois rejoints par Anita Lane (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) et Hideto Sasaki. L'album est réédité en 2003. Chrislo Haas est mort à Berlin en octobre 2004.

The group was formed in 1981 by Beate Bartel (Mania D, Einstürzende Neubauten) and Chrislo Haas (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) as well as the singer Krishna Goineau. As part of the Neue Deutsche Welle (New German Wave) scene they were the pioneers of electronic body music.

After recording four ten-minute cassettes, they released their only album in 1981. The album Liaisons Dangereuses was mixed at the Conny Plank studio in Cologne. The album contains the single Los Niños del Parque (in French: Les enfants du parc), which has become an underground success and has been cited as a crucial influence by DJs from Detroit techno, and the Chicago house.

The band made several live appearances throughout 1981 and 1982, and they were sometimes joined by Anita Lane (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and Hideto Sasaki. The album was re-released in 2003. Chrislo Haas died in Berlin in October 2004.

Los Ninos was taken from red special 10 inch vinyl (B-side). It was released in Germany in 1997. On the a-side of this release there is a longer version but not as powerfull as this version. I must say I alway liked the original version of Los Ninos (by Liaisons Dangereuses) very much but this house version is not bad at all! So enjoy!

Some side info: Plastic Noise existed of two German band members:  Gerd Hilgemann & Marko Albrecht. Under the name Plastic Noise they never made another record. In 1998 they made under the name of Plastic Voice a second record called: "Welcome To The Jungle".

As a DJ, Renato Tomaszio was always anxious to take the dancers on a journey where the soul vibrated and the music created the unforgettable moments. In the midst of the dynamic beats and harmonious melodies, he became an architect of sound, who shaped the mood and anchored the groove in people's hearts. 
The dance floors swayed under the influence of artists such as James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Earth, Wind & Fire. This era was characterized by energy, a sense of community and the undeniable magic of music.

For him, the 90s were an era of musical discoveries and experimental fusions. He celebrated the variety of sounds and expanded his horizons to turn the dance floor into a colorful collage of sounds. His sets were interspersed with energetic funk grooves, seductive soul and a touch of jazz, which formed an unmistakable musical signature. 

Over the years, his musical taste has evolved and transformed. Today, it is often found in the world of downtempo music, where time seems to stand still and the sounds float gently into the atmosphere. In his current sets, he fuses electronic elements with relaxed beats, creates space for introspective melodies and gives the listeners a break from the hectic everyday life. 

His passion for music has never weakened; rather, it has changed and evolved. As a DJ, he not only determined the beat of the dance floor, but also undertook a musical journey through the decades and genres. From the sweaty nights of the 90s to the relaxed sounds of downtempo - his journey as a musician reflects the diversity and timeless power of music.

kosha (Sanskrit कोश, IAST: kośa), usually rendered "sheath", the covering of the Atman, or Self. 

kośa is a soundsmith who brings you a flavour mixing - downtempo, acid house, minimal//deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other Ethnic influences which we beautifully term 'spiritual deeptech' a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India's underground scene.

ॐ//om -The great primordial sound, the original sound from which the universe was created, the sound of all sounds together. According to Hindu metaphysics everything is made of sounds (vibrations), since everything is sound, healing through it, is an ancient ritual, as sound is not only heard through our ears but vibrates within every cell of our bodies.

For us at kosa records this network gives space to connect ideas of various forms to do art for art's sake - not for social recognition. to break the rules of systematic exploitation of the artist's energy and to feel the soul in synchonicity.

We consumed too much music and it started to leak and this is when kośa evolved into a record label in January 2019 with the release of their first various artists compilation Mīmāṃsā, though the real beginnings were with our Podcast series the raga saga https://soundcloud.com/kosamusica/sets/the-raga-saga where in we showcase an hour of beautiful music from our favorite artists from around the world.

50% of all proceeds are donated to Pawbro India Foundation that aims at feeding stray dogs and other animals in Pune, India, feeding over 150 strays everyday. Part of the artists’ stream shares are directed towards these efforts.
