wie könnte ich etwas beschreiben, das mit worten nicht zu fassen ist? mein festivaldebüt, die schwerelosigkeit, das abtauchen. die liebe, mit der das @mitdirfestival gestaltet wurde. die lieben gesichter, die in scheinbar zufälligen mustern das festival erkundeten, um dann in völliger gleichmäßigkeit mit ihren körpern in den beat zu fallen. und ich mitten drin! wie ein rausch ist das wochenende an mir vorbeigezogen, von einem moment in den nächsten, wie ein daumenkino der realität. 

danke an @laberg-music, die mich eingeladen hat zu spielen, an @lamara_musica und @lou-fo, die vor mir den floor zum beben gebracht haben, und an @femquency, die einfach eine richtig nice rave rikscha in diesen verwunschenen wald gestellt haben, mit der ich am liebsten ab sofort durch berlin düsen möchte, bitte.

danke an alle, die mit mir in der letzten nacht zu den allerletzten tönen noch einmal davon geschwebt sind. ich hoffe, ihr habt es genau so genossen wie ich <3

* Whats your name & where are you based at?
My name is Luc Masera and I am based in Berlin.

* Since when does music play an active role in your life and how did you actually end up at the decks?
Music has always been part of my life. And to be honest, I dont know how I know, but I actually remember one song, my mom was listening to while she was pregnant with me. One of the best songs I know and I still listen to it quite often: Evelyn King - Love come down. Let's listen to it together!
As Hip Hop plays a big part in my life, I jumped behind the decks with one of my Breakdance Crew mates and we started to do mixtapes for our training session.

* Name 2 tracks that give you your silliest bassface! 
ouffff hard question there are so many to name, but one needs to be Jahova by Rusko. and I better not leave out Uk Apache and shy fx - Original Nuttah

* What do you love the most about playing vinyls?
It simply is the absolute contact to the music. There is no othere medium, where you can literally touch the music and do what ever you want with it. Plus the weight. As I always say, and I bet a lot will hate me for that: you only will learn how to make a good selection, by carrying a 30 kilo bag of music to the club. Which does absolutely not mean, that I ain't open for playing digital. But I think I still started at the right time, where there was no option about bringing the heavy bag or not, there where no CDJs and stuff. Sounds like grandfather is talking, but I loved making that experienced. And hearing stuff, but not knowing who or what that is. I had to go to the record shops for weeks or months digging and hoping to find what I heard or love. Spending time with the medium is so important. Today nobody really wants to spend time to search for tunes, there is shazam and stuff.

* Do you also play other genres - outside of bass music?
I always love to play a good techno, breakbeat or Hip Hop Set. But the best is just UK Bassmusic. I know, I live in the wrong city :D
