“My name is Robert, I came about through your thought, I was taught.”

In a world where we are more and more reliant on AI, the Anglo-German songwriter and musician Ludwig Wright and featuring artist and German producer Micki Meuser pose the question of "Why?". Are we looking for freedom? Are we looking for something to fix our empty aims and broken dreams? Will we find it in artificial intelligence? Referencing Isaac Asimovs story collection "I, Robot", the song "I, Robert" looks into the "mind" and "thoughts" of a robot and states: "I just want to live."

Ricerca è nata da un viaggio di tanti anni fa. Eravamo in quella linea d'ombra che separa ciò che la precede e la vita adulta. Dove visioni e realtà, orgoglio e voglia di perdersi, si confondono. L'abbiamo rifatta in tante versioni, questa è il frutto degli incontri lungo la strada. E il viaggio non è ancora finito.

Per il video di ricerca ho voluto dare una visione distopica del luogo in cui vivo, con amore e odio ho voluto rappresentare una Sestri Levante sommersa e apocalittica, dove la nostalgia di quello che è stato lascia solo alla visita un immagine di devastazione; i luoghi felici dell' infanzia distrutti dal passare inesorabile del tempo.
