Our new single Downpour from our upcoming EP!

Downpour was recorded at Headgap Studios in Preston, Victoria with producer Finn Keane. The song is about how people's lives are often at the mercy of factors beyond their control, with lines such as "society diseased, society afraid" relevant to the current state of the world.

Harvest was written about the journeys of friendship and kinship and the trials and tribulations those sort of bonds can face over time. Physical and spiritual differences, as well as confusion generated by an abundance of misinformation, can test these relationships with painful consequences if left unchecked.

Originating from Melbourne, Australia, Kota are a brand new three piece rock band consisting of Andrew Ritter on vocals/bass, Jack McDonald on guitar and David Convery on drums.

Influenced by a myriad of alternative rock, grunge and metal acts including Violent Soho, Nirvana, Metallica, Tool and Alice in Chains, the group seamlessly and originally blends heavy, in your face rock riffs with catchy and memorable melodic tones and emotional vocals.

This is a trio chomping at the bit to unleash itself on the live music scene and establish themselves as a group of note in the current musical climate
