Dindinga is an EP that translates into an intimate need of normality through these lockdown vibes. 
It consists in two tracks with two distinct dance floors in mind. 
One for the body and the other one for the spirit. 
The track “Dindinga” is a proper fire starter that combines an Afro groove with Synth-Pop and features a bunch of different elements like brazilian favela funk percussions along with some crazy cool synth and Marimba lines and also a finger lickin’ bass that turns everyone on.
The other track “Hymogwai” goes for a more spiritual approach with a slower tempo, a deeper bassline and more obscure and psychedelic elements. Nevertheless, it is still signing up for a dance floor pleasing

Like a book with chapters blending into each other so seamlessly that you can't but read it in one go.

>>Wer bist du und woher kommst du?
Ich bin Aaron aka Yusuf Lemone und komme ursprünglich aus Freiburg, wohne aber seit Anfang 2008 in meiner Wahlheimat Berlin.

>>Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
In meinem Freundeskreis standen schon immer ein paar Turntables rum, seit ich 14/15 Jahre alt war. Früher habe ich mich damit eigentlich nicht wirklich aktiv beschäftigt, aber trotzdem immer mal dran rumgedreht. Eigentlich kam ich übers Beats basteln für unsere HipHop-Rap-Geschichte damals zum Produzieren und habe dann nach meinem ersten Release erst in Berlin angefangen Live Sets zu spielen und mich dann nach und nach in die DJ-Marterie hineingelebt. 

>>Was hat dich für das Set inspiriert? 
Als erstes natürlich eure Anfrage, dann unzählige Sets von Künstler- Dj Kollegen und Kolleginnen, die ich gehört habe aber auch Bands und Musiker aus den 60er-80er Jahren (Dj Harvey, Heimlich Knüller, Vitalic, Beatles, Doors, Jannis Joplin, Queen, ...) und meine Gefühlslage beim Vorbereiten und kreieren des Sets. 

>>Welcher Moment deines Künstler:innentums hat dich nachhaltig beeinflusst?
Mein erster Rave in einem Club namens Exodus Parkhaus bei Freiburg vor ca. 20 Jahren mit schrecklicher, schranziger Musik hat mein damaliges doch eher engstirniges Verständnis von Musik und Kultur geöffnet und mich aufgemacht für Neues. Davor habe ich ausschließlich HipHop Beats produziert, danach ging es dann los mit Singer-Songwriter Gigs bis zu House und Techno.

>>Welche Ziele als Künstler:in willst du noch erreichen?
Ich würde gerne mindestens ein Album produzieren, welches nicht ausschließlich auf Beatmusik/Tanzmusik basiert, was mir sehr schwerfällt, und ein Konzept verwirklichen, welches mir schon seit einigen Jahren im Kopf rumgeistert, welches bildgebende Kunst, Social Media, Musik und Mode vereint und alles auf die Schippe nimmt. Bisher bestehen diesbezüglich aber nur viele Ideen, gekritzelte Brainstormings und der Name.

>>Möchtest du (innerhalb der Szene) auf etwas aufmerksam machen, das dich beschäftigt?
Es ist nicht alles Gold, was glänzt.

Where the two actually originate, nobody knows for sure. Rumors have it that they once had a common love for sprat fishing and point their fateful meeting to somewhere on the North German Coast.
If you believe the various rumors, Zadak lost his pants in a raid by the Department of Fish and Game, while Kotelett, due to an overdose of moonshine, lost his Boating License. Both lost their Fishing Licenses and, whoops!, there went their livelihood...
What was left for them to do but abscond to the interior, a bleary-eyed and shady escape to where no one knew them by name. "From now on ...." one of the two is said to have mumbled into his beard; which one is still not known. All in all it was a perfectly logical development, since the nights were rough anyway and the lamest things always ended up in the Net...if all catfish are gray.
And so, control rod was quickly exchanged with controller, stroke side with backspin, and fog horn with fog machine. What was formerly filleted, is now being filtered, what was being caught, is now pitched. Since then they have never again scrubbed the decks, but instead record from them.
Now, wherever they drop their anchor: there blows a strong bass-breeze, sound waves rise and no shot glass remains dry. Every Mermaid has exchanged her ingenue for a good pair of dance shoes and goes crazy from the unmistakable sound of the two self-acclaimed Club- Irish. Whosoever doesn't hold tight to the bar will be swept away like the sprats in the net.
Even after days-long sets and a potently boozy fee, a glance into the crowd of faces, tanned by the thick club air, reveals all: Kotelett and Zadak remain uncompromised and bring together that which belongs together - music and magic moments.
(The Department of Fish and Game would like to add: "We are simply happy to be rid of them.")
