BIO

Pierwsze kroki za deckami stawiał w 2002 roku, pod czujnym okiem Dj’a Yagiego. W 2003 roku w trakcie studiów poznał Dj'a Wary i przystępuje do kolektywu P.L.U.R. Współpraca ta owocuje imprezami m.in.w takich miejscach jak klub Absurd w Krakowie czy legendarny Kanty w Jaworznie.  W tym czasie nawiązuje bliską współpracę z Amortyzator Kollektiv, co również przekłada się na imprezy w takich miastach jak m.in. Bielsko - Biała, Tychy czy Katowice. W 2004 członek W-82 Agency. 
W 2006 nawiązuje współpracę z tarnowskim kolektywem Reanimation Frequency. 
Równolegle rozwija zainteresowanie produkcją, co skutkuje wydaniami w takich labelach jak m.in.:  Circulate Recordings, Stereophonic, Hypnohouse Traxx, Impacted Chaos czy Undershape Recordings.

Steel Grooves is the creative alter ego of DJ / Producer / Audio Engineer Rex Bruton Capital Techno Recordings - Director / Owner

Rex began DJing in 1996 at the age of 15 after attending his first Rave in his home city Austin Tx. Heavily inspired by the early Texas Rave scene, Rex has devoted most of early years his life to pushing dance music forward in the lone star state.by playing the role of Promoter, DJ, Producer, and label owner.

Originally known as D.J.R.J., Rex changed it to Steel Grooves when he started producing his own brand of high energy funky techno. Inspired by Ben Sims's Hardgroove concept, Rex spun his own interpretation to align with his unique style of funky dance floor techno. Rex's initial mission has been to focus on involvement in the local ATX scene. His contributions helped lead the way to many early 90s techno acts reaching Texas including:

Adam Beyer, Frankie Bones, Headroom (Sweden), T-1000, Misstress Barbara, Mike Dearborn, Alexi Delano, Marco Carola, Gataeno Parisio, Danilo Vigorito, Hyperactive, Bam Bam, Fer Br, to name a few. 

After some marginal success with promoting events Rex decided it was time to take the next step into producing his own tracks which lead to his 1st release on FerBr's & Wyrus's Keep on Techno records. From there he went on to form his own label and has released countless tracks under several alias's including,

What started out as a local DJ crew selling Capital Techno t-shirts at parties ended up morphing into a highly respected international techno label with over 100 releases from a wide range of talent across the global techno community. Established in 2010, CTR is the first Techno focused record label out of ATX to reach a worldwide audience. CTR tracks have been supported by top touring DJs and played at countless top clubs/festivals. 

Music is a a religion to Rex that saved him from himself as a troubled teen. DJing is an art form that Rex has spent most of his life crafting a sound inspired by his experiences as a teen growing up in the 90s in Texas. His perspective of dance music + dj culture doesn't align with the commercialism that started w EDM. DJing and manipulating music is a skill that takes time and dedication to master not a shortcut to a life of vanity. Pop culture has mutilated the essence of the underground music scene turning into the very big business machine that it once resisted. Regardless, Rex will always make music and work with like minded individuals when opportunities arise.

Was a regular DJ in the mid to late 90s underground electronic scene in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Played in some of the legendary warehouses there as well as a bunch of the bigger rave parties. Not playing out anymore but still enjoy laying down some tracks from home.

Peter Gadek to DJ i promotor z Tarnowa, z serca południowo-wschodniej Polski, dla którego muzyka elektroniczna to pasja od najmłodszych lat. Już w dzieciństwie fascynował się twórczością pionierów elektroniki, takich jak Jean-Michel Jarre czy Kraftwerk. Przełom nastąpił, gdy w domu rodzinnym zainstalowano antenę satelitarną — wtedy po raz pierwszy zetknął się z muzyką klubową i od razu się w niej zakochał.
Jego przygoda z DJ-owaniem rozpoczęła się w 2004 roku, kiedy kupił pierwsze gramofony i mikser, aby rozwijać swoje umiejętności. W wieku 18 lat uczestniczył w swojej pierwszej imprezie techno, która utwierdziła go w wyborze muzycznej drogi.
Kiedy lokalna scena klubowa w Tarnowie zaczęła zamierać, Peter postanowił kontynuować i rozwijać ją dalej. Choć Tarnów nie jest znany z klubowych wydarzeń,  unikalny klimat miasta stał się idealnym tłem dla rozwoju młodej, dynamicznej sceny elektronicznej.
W latach 2014–2016 pełnił funkcję bookera artystów i promotora w Klubokawiarni Percepcja, aktywnie wspierając lokalnych twórców i artystów. Od 2007 roku występował również poza rodzinnym regionem  m.in. w Krakowie, Radomiu, Katowicach, Bytomiu, Bielsku-Białej, Miasteczku Śląskim i Wrocławiu, dzieląc scenę z uznanymi DJ-ami i artystami live.
W latach 2018–2023 był integralną częścią wrocławskiego kolektywu Suicide Collective, wspierając jego działalność aż do zakończenia działalności grupy.
Obecnie Peter współpracuje z Klubem Piwnica Przepraszam przy ul. Krakowskiej 2, gdzie okazjonalnie organizuje wydarzenia pod markami "Tarnowska Scena Techno" i "Peter Gadek Invites". Każda impreza to wyjątkowe doświadczenie muzyczne, które przyciąga zarówno lokalnych fanów, jak i gości z dalszych regionów.
