" The Gardens of Babylon is a growing international brand based in Amsterdam who specialize in full experience events that combine music, spirituality, and visual effects worldwide. 

Launching the label in 2019, they have quickly cemented their position as a quality purveyor of House music.   Omri Guetta is a leading Israeli DJ/producer who over the last 15 years has built an amazing back catalogue. Named # 1 Underground DJ in 2017 at the Tel Aviv Music Awards, his magical sound is soaked in emotion and his label Frau Blau continues to impress. Fellow Israeli, Omer Tayar, has an equally impressive career in music. The guitarist and DJ-producer has been showcasing his exquisite, diverse music selection at the leading venues in Tel Aviv and beyond. Additionally, he has been spearheading the music production department at the highly respected music school Rimon. 

The two recently joined forces for an endless number of upcoming releases and an exciting live project.  Opening the EP with delicate melodics and sparse percussion, ‘Ever So’ begins its journey with class and style. Building in intensity over the mid-section, the main break provides a moment’s rest before spiky synths drive the final section home hard. ‘Trip In’ is a deeper excursion. Hollow pads and percussive FX keep the groove deep and attention grabbing. Mutating main lines cause an explosion of interest midway and become delightfully musical.   

On remix duties, German DJ extraordinaire and Younion boss, Re.You takes ‘Ever So’ down a darker percussive path, focusing on the emotional side drawing out the tension with clever sound design, while Portuguese artist, Xinobi, adds his substantial studio skill to ‘Trip In’ making it even deeper and melodically rich. The madrileños artist carves out a new era for his music, his debut 'Consort Of Zeus' EP on Ya Hala Ya Hala back in 2021 has continued to bewitch all who encounter it since its release. In the artist’s own words;

‘Space Phantasy’ is a journey to atone for demons to become the best version of yourself, even if everything around you is crumbling at your feet. It wasn't originally intended as a dancefloor song. I have tried to be as organic and minimalistic as possible in its production.

‘This Is The Time’ was the beginning of a change in both my sound and my life. I was listening to a lot of acid & Chicago, house, and in the end, the idea was to bring those influences and that classic sound to the present in a low bpm track, but with a very particular dancefloor pressure. With this track, I wanted to remind myself that it's always a good time to start from scratch and abandon a sad self, which only subtracts from your potential.

TAU label heads Adana Twins brings the tempo up a notch with a primed late-night, sweaty phat remix, huge hoover bass tones interject racing percussion, and main vocals samples for a futuristic blend of driving sonics. The duo shows off a distinct ability for carving in breaks into their tracks. Keeping things Techno-ish and consistent while adding touches of their breadth of influences.

Life & Death regulars Marvin & Guy gives the reworking a hazy and trippy desert, bringing a dreamlike feel while keeping things dancefloor-friendly.
The remix begins in the same spirit and captures the blissful allusions of its name Space Phantasy, but its initial gentility belies the deep intensity to come. Floating pads glow with celestial ambiance, melodies, topped with a vocoded vocal hook.

Since we realized "Your Secret is Safe With Me", we trusted Gueva from the very first beat. This stomping offbeat opener with its powerful snare alongside the arp and very impressive industrial effects got us from the very first moment. Making an almost invisible transition to the second track "Baile" - a melodic vocoder killer for the floor – we come along to "Des Apego". A hymn with a big character, a huge impact. 

This earworm also infected label boss Marc DePulse and inspired him to produce two versions of his remix. Dee Montero is next up on the ever reliant music tastemakers that are Do Not Sit on the Furniture. 

Montero is a UK artist with an international profile. He is a former resident at Cafe Mambo for eight years and has some serious skills in the DJ booth. His productions skills are renowned and revered too, with recent releases on the likes of Lee Burridge's Tale & Tones, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, and Solomun’s Diynamic, where his ‘Halcyon’ track spent 5 weeks at #1 on Beatport, and was Pete Tong’s #1 Track of 2017. Here he goes deep and emotional on his four latest and great tracks. 

Chakra opens up with spine tingling xylophones dancing over rubbery, rolling grooves. It’s a late night cut with a real sense of musical spirit that burrows deep into your brain. Ventura then picks up the pace but stays just as seductive, with supple kicks and more busy but enchanting new age melodies floating up top next to draped piano chords that are full of feeling. Bahia then traps you in a trance, with more sustained pads and chanting vocals that are utterly uplifting. It’s a magical cut once more. Last of all, Samsara is another hands in the air, lighters out kind of tune with dreamy pads and superbly crafted melodies that are soft and shiver inducing. 

This really is a classy house EP from one of the best labels in the game.
