Dutch underground electronic music artist Gerwin van Engelenburg presents the Control EP, a masterful blend of hypnotic rhythms and timeless acid influences. Released on the enigmatic Modern Nostalgia label, the EP features three standout tracks.

The title track, Control, channels deep, hypnotic Detroit techno energy, weaving intricate melodies and pulsating grooves. It appears in two versions: the original mix, which drives forward with commanding intensity, and the Drum Sucks mix, a beatless reimagining that strips away the percussion, fully exposing the mesmerizing synths in all their beauty.

The B-side, Phase, delivers a timeless burst of acid-fueled techno. With its sharp, resonating 303 lines and a relentless undercurrent, this track exemplifies Van Engelenburg's ability to craft music that bridges nostalgia and modernity.

The Control EP solidifies both Van Engelenburg and Modern Nostalgia as key purveyors of evocative, timeless, boundary-pushing electronic music.

My new EP explores two sides of progressive house. "A New Hope" is a dynamic track led by a hypnotic bassline, supported by airy synths that create a floating atmosphere. The break builds tension before a gradual rise enhances the drop’s impact. In contrast, "Another Reality" offers a more organic and mysterious ambiance, featuring delicate piano melodies, brass-like synths, and subtle percussions. Two complementary worlds, coming together for an immersive sonic journey.

Starwalk began his career as a Dj in the early 90s. Playing music in various Bars and Clubs in Crete, he continued his career as a radio producer at various stations presenting the entire spectrum of musical currents of the time (Acid Jazz, Indie Rock, Trip Hop and dance music), giving great weight in Soul, Funk , Jazz sounds of the decade of '70 & amp; 80. In 1996 he creates the Eclipsis group, and organizes dance events in Crete until 2001. In the late 90s, he acquire more experience by working for 5 years in a tow local record stores and acquiring knowledge of the music industry. In the early 2000s he started learning and producing electronic music and develops his home studio in a professional business(2006) Digital Wave
