The lead track from our 1999 Kings of the Wild Frontier "Trans-Am" EP on Massimo's Dust2Dust label and a cut-n'paste party extravaganza. I've never seen it fail to move a dancefloor. Freddy Fresh licensed it to a compilation he did not long after, but unfortunately a bunch of copies of the 12" weren't centred properly including the one Freddy got his hands on, so the money shot horn break in the middle sounded like a drunkard weaving his way home. Shame, but we got to DJ with Freddy once at DPercussion in Manchester and he's super cool so we don't mind.

Next up in the Heat Rock catalog! For HR-017, Altered Tapes (Chicago, USA) and Double A (New Zealand) team up for two sides of pure fire! Side A features one of our favorite flute loops turned up to 11, backed by a chunky drum break, and Side B boasts a soulful revisit of a 00’s Dirty South classic. There’s a big BPM difference between the sides which makes this one a must-have DJ tool. Doubles are recommended!
