Remix

This is a set I crafted in September 2021 for a virtual stage at BRCvr called The Oasis of Oontz. BRCvr was the AltSpaceVR world that was created by the BMOrg to provide Burners with a place to gather during the pandemic. This set originally aired on the day of the Burn. 

Collectively, many of the DJs who participated that day decided to participate in a Twitch raid train in December 2021 to re-broadcast their sets outside of BRCvr. This was the opening set for that raid train.

This set was recorded live at the Contact Dance at the Istana in Uluwatu, Bali. 💃🏼💦✨

I absolutely LOVE DJing for contact jams. Of course I love Ecstatic Dance, and Shadow Dance, and Parties and Festivals... but there's definitely something special and extra yummy about Contact spaces. ❤️

I love playing with the spaciousness... the slower tempos... the drippy, sensual, hypnotic rhythms. And I love witnessing the interactions on the dancefloor - between friends, lovers, or total strangers. The depth, the trust, the playfulness, the vulnerability. What a gift. 🔥

The Dark Knight Trilogy - Epic Retrospective Soundtrack

I'm super proud of this remix I made for one of my most favorite bands. This was for the 20 year anniversary of the awesome MERGE records, and all profits go to charity!

The Arcade Fire is the most high-profile band on Merge, and handing over one of the group's iconic tunes to Forrest -- a sample-crazy DJ from the experimental electronica underground who used to brazenly release tunes under the name Donna Summer and runs a label called Cock Rock Disco -- is a bold move. The result is no noise-heavy deconstruction, however; the production on the track is relatively restrained. Forrest retains the song's core structure but fills it out with tasteful electronic flourishes. The track is a clear improvement on the original version, foregrounding the anthemic quality of the Arcade Fire's music without sacrificing the earnestness that has gained them a massive following."
