there are plenty of pretty faces in pretty places
but there's nowhere that i've found quite like

long drives and longer kisses to mend the distance
i've been on the road since 3 am 
but i'm more awake than i've ever been.

soon enough the sky turns violet and it's very quiet
i can hear all the songs you used to sing
calling out on the faintest frequencies.
