Waking Volcanoes are an indie/rock trio based in South Essex. They've been getting their sound and performance together for 2 years playing in clubs, pubs and parties across London and the South East. They've been lucky enough to have radio airplay on BBC Essex and even New Zealand national radio and are now hoping to find the deal they've been waiting for.

With Patrick Watt on vocals & guitar, Seb Cano laying down the slick bass lines and Joe King keeping the tightest grooves on drums, they've found their own unique style and sound which they apply to their original songs.

Lofi, avant-garde pop. It was started alone, became a band, then debanded itself once again to resuscitate anew as a continued creative pitstop for Ross Bicknell, who when not playing in various bands or making podcasts and DJing as Wetwear, or writing.. or teaching.... returns to his bedroom to find new ways to express his love for grainy, filthy, stupid, multifarious, techy, jungly pop music. Influences include John Maus, Ariel Pink, Suicide, Vangelis, Jungle (NOT the band) and Sonic Youth.
