￼Kiel MC and DJ Immaculate are Rooks and Royals. Throwing back to the nineties, these Brisbane brothers have a remarkable style reminiscent of the ‘golden era’ of rap.
Their sample heavy, boom bap production combines with energetic performances, dope word play and intricate scratch hooks to create hip-hop masterpieces.
Having supported international acts Das Efx, Black Sheep, Hopsin and the Funk Volume Team, Motley and Illmaculate (Sand People), Rooks and Royals have developed their passion for hip-hop whilst remaining true to their Australian roots.
This home-grown connection with Australian hip-hop and rap has seen them support national names Bias B (Biaslife album tour), Lazy Grey, Dj Dcide, Jake Biz, 750 Rebels, Ciecmate, Tornts, BigFoot, Brad strut, Maundz, Trials (Funkoars), K21, Realizm, Mdusu, Spit syndicate, Kerser, Mr Hill, Rainman and Calski.
Taking inspiration from all manner of hip-hop and rap artists, these boys have developed their style and approach to match their kick-arse attitudes and love for the art.
Kiel has seen solo success with two previously released E.Ps, Round Two and Written Observations, whilst both have been creating since 1999 and performing since 2010.
Proof of their talent, innovative approach and certain future success – a free EP download is available in 2013.
Rooks and Royals’ debut full length album is due for release in 2014.

Formed in 2013, Sandstone Harbour is a rock band from Brisbane, Australia consisting of three members: Kyle (Guitar and Vocals), Jordan (Drums),  and Lachlan (Bass and Backing Vocals) Looking to have a EP done later in the year with singles to be uploaded in the coming days.
