Supertaste is an indie dance band from Brooklyn, NY. A pair with an appetite for deli sandwiches and disco. With tracks featured in the top 10 Nu-Disco on beatport, articles on Dancing Astronaut and a heap of Spotify editorials to their name, Supertase are cementing themselves in the Nu-Disco / Indie Dance scene. With DJ Mag putting Supertaste in a ones to watch list in 2021 coupled with a SPIN interview, the future's looking good for the Brooklyn duo.

Shot In The Dark is yet another funky disco bop from Supertaste. Finding residence in the vein of Jungle and Kaytranada, this track combines a number of complex layers and instruments to amount in a song you can’t stay still around. With 80s synths, toppy hats and and range of sequenced effects, this track is expertly produced and catchy as anything you’ll hear this year. The song is unapologetically Supertaste as the pair cement their sound on the world with the distinct vocals and complex instrumentation.

Kraak & Smaak keep the funk alive with the latest release on their hot new Boogie Angst imprint. The single is a return to a more soulful style for K&S following the success of their most recent release Mountain Top on Spinnin’ Records which was supported by Pete Tong and Danny Howard on radio. Beyond a Kasper Bjørke guest spot and a smattering of live performances, there isn't much to kooky Icelandic group Sísý Ey's name. Well, until now – and what a way to make an entrance. "Do It Good" is outrageously fun: a bobbling bassline, coursing synth action and emphatic earworm vocals interlock to supreme effect; Neville Watson's aptly named "Power Dub" does similar damage.

It's the same kind of raw, untrammelled energy that Mr Intl label boss Andy Butler provided in abundance when stripping down to his underwear during a boiling Hercules & Love Affair session this time last summer. In a different set of circumstances, this would have been a nailed-on no.1 smash, but alas.

Get your booty on the floor tonight (or wait for the physical, coming Aug 14th).

Sísý Ey "Do It Good" - Boiler Room Debuts

Flush is a new project I started in order to release all edits and reworks I do on planes and in airport lounges. It will be focused on House Music from the early days. Often sample-based but not always, it's a mixture of Chicago House and French Touch a la Crydamoure. Initially the plan was to just put these out on the internet, but the people at Strictly Rhythm thought the first song “Come Back Baby" was good enough to release.

"Come Back Baby" will be available on iTunes and Spotify this Friday, July 31.

Comfort You feat. Fractures (J Paul Getto Remix)

Berlin producer @Superlover returns to @mother-recordings with his upcoming "Kiss" EP (which will be released on January 30th), we at Discobelle can premiere the track "Heart Drive" which samples the Goody Goody classic track "It Looks Like Love.

The track itself is propelled forward by a pulsating bass and crisp sounding strings making this into a warm sounding surefire club bomb.
