@Alienata is definitely one of the most music obsessed personalities we ever met. That said had having the chance to enjoy her behind decks makes one witness of a physical symbiosis between full expression as well as highest concentration - crystallized in one face. 
This could be considered an exact body-reflection of Elenas soundscape: dark and minimal, danceable yet broken, maximal and strong-focused at the same time. With 17 years experience as a DJ, she creates her very own mixture of electronic music in club sets with a constant development. For nothing less stands 'Discos Atonicos' (@discosatonicos), her 2017 founded label.

Hi and Welcome to ITALO MODERNI mixes! 

Today we have one of the hidden gems from Madrid the scientist Waje @waje-martin one of the most charitable and old school DJs and producers of recent years. 
We have been following him for years now and after seeing some of his performances in different clubs and festivals, we can say that it is a real pleasure to have Waje in our IM mixes. 
Are you ready for the scientist Waje to make us feel the pleasure of listening to quality obscure electronic music?

Bio Waje:
Dj de vieja escuela, coleccionista de discos de vinilo e investigador incansable desde hace más de 30 años.
Apartado siempre de lo establecido ,buscando otros y diferentes caminos donde saciar  la curiosidad impetuosa por la música.
Antes de sus comienzos como dj, siempre ha sentido un deseo irrefrenable por compartir sus descubrimientos y conocimientos en el ámbito de la música, lo qué le impulsaba gratamente a grabar casettes personalizando la selección a muchos amigos de la juventud e incluso a pequeños pubs y bares de su barrio natal desde donde se inician sus comienzos en el 88 como profesional, gracias a un amigo dj residente de un pequeño club ya desaparecido y qué acostumbraba visitar frecuentemente con una maleta de vinilos, la cual ponía a disposición de su amigo Pitufax,dj residente de dicho club llamado Limite 69 y al tiempo le grabase tapemixes partiendo de la selección hecha por el mismo Waje. Al poco tiempo le plantean trabajar como dj residente en dicho club.
Desde ese momento y hasta hoy, no ha dejado de reflejar una identidad propia en su labor como dj, buscando siempre....sobre todo en las caras b.
Influenciado principalmente desde la música electrónica de últimos 70 y 80 además de la escena y djs de la costa valenciana de últimos de los 80. 
Partiendo de estas influencias, los sonidos y ritmos que más rondaban por su cabeza son los que abarcaban estilos como el synth pop, Coldwave, Ebm, Electro e industrial.

MaK has been a collector of electronic music including acid, techno, experimental, post punk, weirdo house dance beats with heavy influence from Chicago and Detroit sound back since 1995. He got his first DJ gig at back in 2006 and it has been one long party since then. In 2008, MaK started DJing at House and Techno parties all over Athens, which stimulated him to organise his own nights - hosting names such as Kitsune Maison / Teenage Bad Girl / Severino / Busy P. In 2010 he became resident at the Deep Inside Athens Parties, playing alongside world class DJs such as Maayan Nidam \ Luke Howard \ Dynamodyse and many many more. In 2011 MaK begin his residency at Glastonbury Festival in the infamous Block9 stage for the NYC Downlow. He is member of the queer party collective “Happy Endings”, and host of radio shows on Threads Radio and Netil Radio in London.

After spending many years in the UK and Serbia he got involved with collecting records, making tracks, exploring sounds from various sources and field recordings, strongly bonded with a unique vision and character regarding true expression through music in a greater spectrum.

The fes­ti­val is not huge, not expen­sive, does not have big spon­sor­ing deals or four dif­fer­ent colour area passes. It’s just a good and so far suc­cess­ful try to bring back the focus on artists who dare to step off the beaten tracks.
