$taxx (Brendon Saunders) is a mix styled, versitile artist with a rep for an abnormal vocabulary. Picking up the mic at 16, he doesnt have the same aspirations as u would hear from a typical rappers or hip hop artists. He does it simply for the "fun" of it. Not taking away from an uncanny knack for the sport and untampered willingness to succeed, $taxx is always ready to push his own lyrical limits and collab with high caliber artists. With rap legend EMINEM as his greatest influence, its no wonder his lyrics are a bit wild and deep rooted at the same time.

Born DC native, but raised in Upper Marlboro, MD $taxx started writing rhymes as a way to make the vast amount of time he spent on punishment into a pleasurable activity. Under the self given name "B.Money" brendon found that writing lyrics came all too easy to him, but developing a sound of his own was a bit more challenging. In his high school days, "B.Money" found his fitting with the MCs of the school. One particular group tightly stitched was the EMP Boyz, which focused highly on lyrical delivery. This is where he was able 2 focus and eventually honed his own skills as an MC.

In 2008 Brendon joined the Marine Corps. After the group was dismantled after highschool, he fell back on making music and focused on a career with the military, but never stopped writing. In November 2009 Brendon ran into a couple other MCs that reminded him of his school crew and they eventually became close. Everyone had something to offer being from different places in the world but its was always him and Kez(Boot Camp Friend) as the main attraction or center of attention. They eventually formed $WAGGENT and "B.Money" was rebirthed into $taxx (name given because of how much money was earned and seemingly always increasing) Finding a nitch between lyrical delivery, club appeal, and versitility, he was able to make a name for himself overseas as one of the top MCs in that area. During shows $taxx would always stand out, matching stage presence and delivery with that of the crowd. Building quite the fanbase $WAGGENT was shaping up 2 become a very powerful team with FAMILY 1st as the motto. Thru the year tough times ensued and dealing with the Marine Corps,BS proved 2 be a hearty adversary which ended in the Family being severed into pieces by one member.. and the eventual destruction of the whole movement after every single member was discharged from the Corps. It Seemed like the end.

Being on his own for so long $taxx struggled to coop with having to come back to his parents residence until he was able to get his own place. The marine corps had left him with little money and a tarnished record which made it hard to find real employment. After two years of being out of the military, $taxx began to write again as a means of escape from depression. He eventually got in touch with old school MCs as well as members of the dismantaled family he built overseas. After getting back in touch with his cousin(Aqiyl Beatz) the two started their own group, as solo artists at the same time. With his cousins ties to a well branded MC in Philidalphia, a new family seemed to be comming out of the union. Cutting off weak links and non serious MCs they were left to themselves as the front runners for the DC quadrent of #STAYWITIT ENT

Caught somewhere in between hip hop and pop music genres, Sixxcess has been compared to such hip hop acts as Kanye West, and Ja Rule, but he fits right in while touring the east coast from NY to NC. Unique to Sixxcess’s sound, instead just rapping, uses a harmonic blend, with hard hitting lyrics, while demonstrating clean lyrics and swag to match. The lyricism is crisp, the verses well annunciated and the messages evoke honesty.
