De uma forma sinérgica e natural, as netlabels brasileiras Tropical Twista Records (@tropicaltwistarecords) & Casa Caos (@casacaos) têm suas histórias entrelaçadas por similaridades e simpatia mútua — somos labels irmãs. Como primeiro resultado dessa intersecção/colaboração, entregamos, feita a quatro mãos, a compilação "Mvndivagante": uma expedição sonora com 16 faixas, reunindo intuitivamente artistas que interpretam, reinventam, questionam e deslocam significados de suas próprias experiências com o mundo.

Mundivagante é uma palavra que vem do latim “mundi” (“mundo”), e “vagus” (“viajante”), logo, um viajante do mundo. Acreditamos que por trás dessa interessante palavra escondem-se muitas nuances de significados; basta ver que o "mundivagante" não é somente aquele que tem a oportunidade de viajar (fisicamente) o mundo todo, mas também aquela que tem interesse em se banhar e nutrir de outras culturas e se aproximar delas; culturas tão diferentes e tão próximas a nós ao mesmo tempo.

Para nós, mundivagante é aquele que tem a vontade inerente de ser do mundo e de que o mundo seja parte essencial dele.

In a coacting and natural way, the Brazilian Tropical Twista Records & Casa Caos netlabels have their stories intertwined by closeness and mutual sympathy - we are sister labels. As a first result of this intersection and/or collaboration, we present the ‘Mvindivagante’ compilation: a 16-track sound expedition, intuitively bringing together artists who interpret, reinvent, question and displace meanings of their own experiences with the world.

Mundivagante is a word that comes from the Latin ‘mundi’ (‘world’), and ‘vagus’ (‘traveler’), thus, a traveler of the world. We believe that behind this interesting word are hidden many nuances of meanings; it is enough to see that the ‘mundivagante’ is not only the one who has the opportunity to travel (physically) the whole world, but also the one that has interest in bathing and nourishing of other cultures and approaching them; so different and so close to us at the same time.

In this way, “Mvndivagante” reflects the inherent will to be of the world and that the world is an essential part of it.

@Burkamina aka Mia was connected to us via our good friend @Meraki. She is from Sao Paolo and has been one of the leading figures in the brasilian scene in the last few years. When we asked her to contribute a track to our first Vinyl, she send us two tracks and we had a hard time choosing which one to include. So we agreed with her to put one on the vinyl and release the other one online in combination with a remix by Meraki.

The virtuoso trumpet, the fragrances of the dub and Johann's Balkan twist together with the addictive, tribal & ceremonial rhythm of Nadav, gave birth to 'The landing'. KRΔUT is the moniker of Amsterdam’s household name Daniel Zuur  @danielzuur. With this alter ego he’s bound to bring his audience a flux of world music influenced electronica, different tempo’s and lots of percussion.  Daniel has been a staple in the Amsterdam club scene since 2009. His unique sound and organic mixes have earned him a name in the alternative electronic music scene, as his sets have been attributed to being melancholic, dynamic but above all, deeply melodic.  Haunted by the drums and his experience as a drummer in several bands, Daniel has developed an exceptional rhythm and sound that no label will do justice. As KR∆UT he released on labels like Shika Shika, Wonderwheel Recordings, Metanoia, Cosmic Awakenings, Tropical Twista Records and recently on new label The Other Eye where he got remixed by sir Acid Pauli.   The producer composes sets that exist in their own singularity; every single one being an individual story that creates its own atmosphere. Every set is textured by a whole variety of original tracks that he adapts with precise care and proper timing live on stage: dialogues, natural sounds and warm beats, all treated into a highly dynamic and unique set. Live he played at national and international clubs and festivals such as: Sisyphos, Fusion Festival, Gardens of Babylon, Wildeburg, Marktkantine, Garbicz and Welcome to the Future.
