Earthgirl is about a woman who flees to a small town, carrying the unbearable weight of a past she can’t speak aloud. To outsiders, she seems strange—always tense, private, off-kilter. But what they’re seeing is alienation—an emotional exile she’s built around herself to survive. Underneath it all, she’s running from a relationship marked by stalking, rape, and attempted murder, and the heartbreak of secretly terminating a pregnancy to save her own life and future —on the night of a full moon.

Hi, I’m Krissie 💜 I have high functioning autism, which I proudly call a gift, though sometimes it drags me into beautifully bonkers territory. I played saxophone for over ten years (seriously, I could wail).. until I got ill and my arms went on strike. But music? It stuck around. All my life, I’ve had to hide who and what I am. I’ve never been what the world calls “normal.” As I say in 'I Don’t Write Songs "I Survive"', my brain just isn’t wired the way it should be. I’ve been called weird, not right in the head, bonkers, even crazy. So I learned to mask, to shrink, to pretend. But here.. here, I get to breathe. To be.

And it’s not just the music. It’s the comments, the replies, the strange and sparkling conversations where I finally feel like I don’t have to filter myself. I can be full volume, full chaos, full heart, and somehow, that’s not just accepted, it’s welcomed.

You beautiful humans (and possibly aliens) have given me something I never thought I’d find, a place to be fully myself. To speak how I feel, to show what I see, and to turn it all into sound and words without shame. The way you’ve welcomed me, supported me, seen me, there are no words. (Yes, I know. Me. The Queen of Words. Speechless. Don’t get used to it.)
