Adam Hopper is a singer-songwriter based in Manchester. Concentrating on poignant, wry lyricism and catchy melodies, he creates his own unique brand of wide-eyed, mellow alternative pop music. Informed by the brighter moments of 1970’s New York’s art rock and pop movements, the carefree, DIY attitude of 1990’s Lo-Fi and anti-folk scenes, Adam can be found playing regularly with his band The Wimps.

Illustrious anti-folk duo, Two Burning Seals, got their start in 1957, performing at the Roadside Diner in Macon, Georgia. After being discovered by A&R from A&M, they went on to release a string of successful singles, but then tragedy struck. After a public scandal and numerous arrests were splashed across the headlines, the band broke up in 1974.

Now, 40 years later, they have reunited to record new music for a different era, continuing to push the envelope of what is expected in pop music.

Equally inspired by anti folk artists as well as noisy guitar driven bands, Busted luster is the songwriting project of Greg M Smith. The name literally means "broken glass" but it also is a reflection of life; how chaos and beauty often coexist in the same space.

Hey, the name's Kyle, and I live in Montreal and I enjoy playing guitar and singing.I've recorded some songs produced by April Hutchins of Mellevon and I've also worked on a few shoddy demos in my room. Currently I've been playing acoustic material, playing at open mics at bars and playing funny songs and sappy songs. Some of my main influences include Bright Eyes, Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smiths, Fugazi, Against me!, Andrew Jackson Jihad, A Wilhelm Scream and Punk and New Wave music.

Angharad is a non binary Welsh artist creating anti-folk cinematic music, with a heavy focus on original and evocative lyrics. If we're telling a story that's already been told we're telling it wrong.

Jules and the Blue Garnets are an Edinburgh based folk/pop band, described as ‘fresh, clear...no saccharine. A bit like apple cider vinegar...tingly’. 

Lead singer and writer, Jules, formed the band alongside producer and guitarist, Rob in 2012 and they soon recorded their self titled EP. Fast forward to 2016 and they have released a follow up single, performed all over Scotland alongside many amazing artists, and following a busy stint in the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, they’re back in the studio and looking forward to releasing their new EP in Winter 2016. 

Jules, Rob and percussionist, Chris, have recently welcomed bass player, Jamesy to the mix. Having known each other since their early teens, the four musicians work closely together to create their own unique, progressive sound. This sound has been described as ‘canned Summer’, ‘perfection’ and ‘stunningly beautiful’. When supporting Runrig at the Perth Concert Hall, fans were told to expect ‘a beautiful voice and catchy songs’. 

BBC Radio 4 host, and New York Anti-Folk creator, Lach, expressed 'Jules and the Blue Garnets achieve a glittering smooth pop sound through confident melody and an enchanting songwriting style. An endearingly engaging band both live and on record. Highly recommended'.
