Barbra is a performance poet, designer and project coordinator. She entered into the spoken word scene in 2009 and since then has performed and worked at various events and festivals in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.

Her poems are descriptive and lyrical narratives of discovery, free verses that explore thought passages of spirituality. 

As a storyteller she defines recurring themes in her poetry of self-discovery and awakening, all part of a JOURNEY that explores the subtleness of existence.

Barbra is passionate about experimental spoken word and collaborates with musicians to create word, song and sound collaborations.]

Projects And Work
Barbra is the Event Organiser and Project Coordinator at ‘Poetry And Project’, that produces poetry based products such as poetry and music shows and workshops at educational centers in the country.

She also runs her own business, a bag and design brand established in 2014, Aame Creations. The brand produces tailor-made fabric bags as per individual client order.

Barbra is passionate about arts creativity and the continued development of  Zimbabwean arts.
