Nixer's debut EP ‘PEOPLE FEEL’ received BBC 6 Music support from Iggy Pop, Lauren Laverne (her ‘While You Were Sleeping’ pick), Steve Lamacq (featured & interviewed as a ‘Spotlight Artist') & 6Music’s Introducing Mixtape. Nixer also received airplay from Jack Saunders as his ‘Next Wave’ on the BBC R1 Indie Show as well as featuring on Spotify’s New Music Friday UK. Following a series of 2023 singles, another EP is planned for the end of this year along with more remixes from 2022’s EP.

Horror ReDubs takes the sinister soundscape of Vexillary’s third LP, Horror in Dub, and mutates it into something even darker, heavier, and more brutal. Each track from the original album is stripped to its raw core and transplanted into a new body, creating a collection that feels like a true horror sequel.

Ten hand-selected producers, chosen by Vexillary, were tasked with reimagining different tracks from Horror in Dub through their unique lenses. From the industrial IDM rework of "Insurrection" by Blush Response, to the breathtaking deep-dub update of "My Vertigo" by bass music veteran Leon Switch, to the glitch heavy reface of "Paris Spleen" by the always innovative VHS Head, and beyond, each of the 10 collaborators has breathed new life into the album, turning it into an even more diverse and futuristic output.

With Horror ReDubs, Vexillary offers more than just a remix album—it’s a complete reinvention of fear itself, lurking within the circuits of a digital wasteland. The result bridges the gap between past and future, where ghostly beats meet the relentless drive of a dystopian soundtrack, forming the digital nightmares of tomorrow. Ultimately, Horror ReDubs maintains the deep meaning and spirit of the original, but morphs into a whole new entity through the witchcraft of remix.

Berlin-based record label Wie Ein Gott prepare to unleash ‘Sledgehammer‘ from Berlin-based producer XTR Human...Our pick is Baha‘s version of ‘Sledgehammer‘ thanks to its warehouse-primed techno sermon infused in euro-trance sweat. Kicking off with smoked vocals and horror-score synths, the track plunges into a blackout of breaks. As the track evolves, thumping kick-drums intertwine with bleached arpeggios and decayed monologues, wrapping the audience in a climax of ecstasy.

Shoulder to shoulder with worms and dirt, the pipework burrowed deep underground, endlessly networking. In the damp, density of the earth all is still and silent. Not for long. Creatures creep. Plates shift. Water works. Blinkered darkness brings whole spectrums of sound and sense. One lonely clap from above can receive raptures of applause below.

Kincaid is continuing a frighteningly prolific string of releases with another on London’s Inside Out records, but this time he’s letting his friends do some of the leg work. It’s a remix EP, with Benedikt Frey, Stevie R & Parisinos and Kris Baha all chiming onto his track 'Pipe Up'. The British producer has already proven himself to be a fierce collaborator. His tendrils reach far and wide to artists as diverse as nu-tech house wizard Urulu aka Liquid Earth, Moscoman’s Disco Halal label and a collaboration with 80s synth pop legends (one of whom is Kincaid's father), Blancmange.

On this latest offering, Kris Baha probes deeper into the slower, sludgier regions with which Kincaid has recently aligned. He strangulates the original - a slick, snail’s-pace psychedelic meditation - into a proto-acid panic of caustic Belgian New Beat.

The UK artist continues his tear across the EBM, rave and industrial spectrums releases tracks that are reminiscent of the 80’s and 90’s sound while maintaining a fresh perspective of the modern world. “Enjoy More”, taken from the LP Manifesto For A Modern World, is the soundtrack to a decade when the rise of the markets and the Ayn Rand philosophy of Objectivism and it’s belief in Laissez-faire capitalism, a form of capitalism devoid of any regulation, ran rampant. The decade of self-interest, a concern for one’s own advantage and well being, and the obsession with wealth accumulation truly took hold. The aftermath of which we are now dealing with today. 

The concept couldn’t be more fitting and now we are thrilled to bring you Kris Baha’s massive remix of the track. The release will be out November 6th on 20 lathe cut transparent 7”, 40 DIY CDs and digital formats. Get yours on Bandcamp.
