At a crossroad between Shin Megami Tensei and Ridge Racer, this battle theme exhudes both energy and a touch of loneliness, as if fighting for the future against overwhelming odds. The juxtaposition of ethereal pads and exposed piano stands in clear contrast to the prominent dub bass and heavy electronic drums. As their clash becomes more intense, so does the feeling of urgency and responsibility. Really powerful (if short) composition. :)
