Tough Age - The Heart Of Juliet Jones

I met Mailande Moran, an American student, at ISB when she was on exchange from Duke. She told me she was a musician, and since I was the president of the music club back then, I invited her over and we were generally discussing music. I told her about A.R.Rahman and the then recent Kadal(this month incidentally marks 20 years of another landmark Rahman album, Thiruda Thiruda).

A fabulous singer herself, she heard the album later that day and the next morning she called me up and said she wanted to record Adiye. In Tamil! And as if that wouldn't do, she asked me the meaning of the song and wrote a few lines in English. 

A borrowed microphone, a home recording, and several months later, here's the output. I felt it would be better to change the arrangements instead of getting her to sing on a Karaoke track and hence have done the arrangements for this. I've also sung some portions. 

It's a home recording and not professionally mixed or mastered. So please bear with the quality.
