I was Music Lead for the Eclectic Room at Cabaret Reverie where we were set up like a Cabaret club with live performances. Our room theme was: Dreams of the Present- Experience a psychedelic speakeasy, where you are invited to be in the present and the presence and flow of eclectic grooves, performances by dreamy aerialists and whimsical dance, to fill your senses and enjoy the moment while you sip on your mocktail. Revel in the now! 

I chose music to dance to, including music that evokes pleasure and dreamlike qualities. Playing for our aerialists was a special treat!

DJ Denise & DJ ICON team up for the first time ever for a very special B2B set at the Friends & Family Fall Classic Campout at Spinning Wheel Yosemite on Saturday, September 30, 2023.  Starting from the San Francisco underground rave era in the mid-to-late 90s when female DJs were few and far between, these two legendary powerhouse ladies have been forging their own separate paths but have supported each other's journeys and became good friends along the way so this first-ever collaboration is extremely meaningful and overdue. They had an amazing time rocking this banging Bass House & Tech House set surrounded by love and community and now you can experience the magic they co-created.

againandmore: LIVE at Capricornus NYE 2024

This set was first performed on January 1st 2024 in San Francisco at the Breakfast of Champions block party on the Space Cowboys main stage.

A RE:CONSTRUCTED set is a *long* way removed from a standard DJ set. It's a live/hybrid set.

Simon takes hundreds of tracks from his huge library, painstakingly deconstructs them (using Ai if needed to separate elements from the original tracks), and then pieces everything back together to create a hugely emotive and immersive musical story.

He uses Ableton Live and multiple controllers to trigger up to 16 individual channels of audio at any one time during the performance, and also performs live keyboard overdubs. The end result is a hugely addictive, compulsive and compelling blend of music that's often new, often familiar but always utterly unique.
