I'm very proud to present the first single from my second album, 'the night is triangles', coming out on October 27th 2023.

This album is built out of samples, field recordings and free sound I've accumulated over a 2 year period, which has been assembled into a puzzle-like instrumental hip hop journey, which dissolves into more abstract passages and sample-reliant tracks throughout.

'crosswords' is a good example, composed entirely of 20+ records dating from the 60's all through the 2000's. It is a kaleidoscope of sound with connecting samples that becomes more serious as it goes on, until it loosens up and cools down into a chill, new-age flute meditation that wraps it up, before it seamlessly evolves into the following track.

I sincerely hope everyone that listens to the full album when it comes out enjoys it. Producing this has been a progressive journey of musical discovery filled with trial and error, but it has all been worth it for my possibly most ambitious project in the 7 years I've been making music. Thank you.
