He remains as one of dance music's most exciting new talents, and the year 2013 will have provided Colombian wonder KhoMha with plenty of memories. Hot off his contributions to Buenos Aires '13 in the form of Cyclone and Dimensional, and for his final Coldharbour Recordings contribution of the year, he presents one of the most anticipated tracks in the wishlists of DJs and fans for many months.

In a year highlighted by his ever-presence throughout Markus Schulz's Scream Bus Tour, Hydra was arguably one of the standout highlights. Debuted by the Coldharbour boss during the passionate setting of A State of Trance 600 in Mexico City, the track demonstrates KhoMha's ability to combine his addictive rolling basslines with incredible melodies and a huge dose of swagger. Many of his followers cite Hydra as their favorite production from him to date.

Drummer first came to prominence during Markus' performance at this year's Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. KhoMha's melodic application is in evidence once again, but this time comes accompanied with some dark, techno-fused style percussions and bass to get a crowd going deep into the night. Kadence rounds off the package, and while it's less than two weeks old, it's sure to light up the clubs as the holiday season approaches.

The Hydra E.P. rounds off an incredible 12 months for Mr. Roberto Alzate Pasos. With several Coldharbour Nights before the year rounds out, he isn't finished on his pursuit of ascension just yet.

ManMachine, the psychedelic and progressive alter ego of Miroslav Bako also known as Excizen, one of the strongest tektrance names from Serbia and part of collaborative techno project named Rezolut with Opsy. Involved in music back from late nineties, regular radio show editor last twelve years behind his own Ravevox project on serbian Rsp.fm. After many years of DJ-ing, he turns to production and immediately achieves success with the debut of his live project in UK's popular Higherground Show in 2003. In 2008 he signed two tracks on Kagdila Record’s Digital Speakers vol. 2 as ManMachine, and after that he was busy in his studio working on his full length album for Excizen project, which was released to high acclaim in February '09. on the now well established label Soundmute Recordings with additional EP’s and remixes released on Pure Perception Records, Horns And Hoofs, Nachtstrom Schallplatten and Boshke Beats. Now he is coming back with ManMachine debut album on Ovnimoon Records in association with Goa Records and Geomagnetic. 'Reintegrate' is a true theme album uniquely blending progressive techno and deep psychedelic fullon trance. During last years he released Ep's on Digital Drugs, remixes on PsyLove Records, Midijum Recods, BMSS Records, Tesseract, now he's the regular artist on YSE Records. Presenting his releases in amazing live performance on parties around, ManMachine is artist who shouldn’t be missed. With many releases to come and his second album "The Second Warp" was released on October 2012 for Yellow Sunshine Explosion.

His complex arrangement of progressive/psygressive/forest/downtempo elements take psytrance and downtempo to tasty new heights. Two friends doing what they do best - and paying homage to one of dance music’s most iconic anthems in the process. Originally released by Jens in 1993, Loops & Tings exemplified dance music’s explosion throughout Europe in the early part of that decade. The theme became even more familiar to listeners worldwide when Marco V applied his touch ten years after the original, yielding Loops & Tings relooped. Now with Markus Schulz on the verge of releasing his fourth artist album, Scream, he and Ferry Corsten conceive a fitting tribute for 2012 dancefloors. 

Debuted during Ferry’s landmark 8 hour Corsten’s Countdown episode 250 broadcast from New York City, Loops & Tings has become an instant request in both DJs’ sets. From the Electric Daisy Carnivals in Las Vegas and New York to the Godskitchen Boombox in Buenos Aires, and from Markus and Ferry’s respective Ibiza residencies at Privilege and Eden, their recreation allows the new wave of clubbers to enjoy that instantly recognisable melody, transcended from their previous generation. 

The next chapter of Loops & Tings is here, and it is a welcome tribute.

Addex is a solo project from Romania. His sound is atmospheric deep house with summer sounds, dubby chords, heavy pads and with grooving bongo percussion. Began listening electronic music at age of 10, and with years, many various genres was capture his attention wich was an inspiration and a study case. In 2005 he decided to produce different styles of electronic music, including Lounge and Down-Tempo. In 2007 he signed for his first release. Influenced by big artists such as Depeche Mode, Röyksopp, Faithless, The Timewriter, Toka Project, Terry Lee Brown Jr., The Rurals etc., Addex created his own sound and is able to translate his thoughts and emotions into every production and remix.

Remixed for many artists like Andrew Chibale, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Greg Parker, The Messenger ,Da Funk, Onionz, Marvin Zeyss, Evren Ulusoy, Jon Silva, Hakan Libdo, etc. He released his music on labels like Acryl Music, Soul Industries, Etoka Records, Solid Fabric Rec, Manuscript Rec, LoveZone Records, Loco Records, Plastic City, I Records, etc., delivering an unique vibe and quality for each release and remix.
The first EP ‘Fireworks’ was released in January of 2008 on record label Emotive Vibes. This was the begin of Addex producing deep tracks. Follow by numerous collaborations, charted tracks, the next releases are series of newly and refreshing tunes. Uses aliases such as Openzone Bar for his relaxing Lounge sound. A café mood using sensual elements and styles taken from Ambient, Lounge, Dub or Trip-Hop genre. The First EP using this alias was “Art Of Perception” and it marked the start in forthcoming calm Down-Tempo singles. He released “The Tourist” ,first album with Openzone Bar including 14 relaxing tracks, on the Daredo sublabel Parasol Phonothéque. Another used alias is The Urban District with a Deep House, Tech-minimalistic sound. The first EP ‘Getting Closer’ was released in June 2009 on NightChild Records and it received good feedback from many DJ’s and producers around the world. Delivering four Deep House tracks, the EP embrace the elements of Jazz combined with Deep House style. “Orion Destination” is the first album with this alias, with 11 deep tracks signed on the same label.

In the Spring his first album ‘Emblematic Soul’ was born, released on Solid Fabric Recordings. With this album he managed to embrace his Deep-Tech-House sound and produced 12 tracks. Soon, on 14 May, ‘Elmblematic Soul Remixed’ was released including 10 quality tunes and 2 bonus tracks. 2010 is the year were ”Moments In Timeless Strings” was born. The album moves smoothly through various shades of deep house and electronica. It is both engaging and atmospheric, warm and original, with a subtle nod to early electronic pioneers such as Vangelis. From dreamy keys and ethereal vocals, through introspective interludes, to Uber-cool deep house, this album is the work of an original and inventive producer at the top of his game.

This week we welcome Emilie Nana to the Source to Cycle series, with two mixes as usual, spread over the next two hours.  Emilie hails from Lyon in France, and began producing music at an early age.  Releases on Third Ear, Compost Black, Stattmusik, Raoul and St. Vitus have paved the way for Emilie to DJ around Europe, and particularly in Switzerland where she is now based, and is part of the sCs crew who run regular parties in the Swiss region.

The spirit of trance and progressive in the United States has long been amplified and embodied by DJ/producer Kristina Sky. From the early days of the genres, she was first integral in bringing the music’s top DJs to the West Coast masses, often for the first time, then ultimately stepping behind the booth herself in 2002. “KSky,” as she’s known to one of the most loyal and passionate fanbases in the biz, has been tapped to play all the top festivals around the world, from Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance, sharing the stage at Coachella with Daft Punk and Madonna, multiple sets at Electric Daisy Carnival, as well as consistent appearances at the trance-focused Dreamstate and many more top one-off events. Kristina Sky has also held many coveted residencies including America’s first weekly trance event at Arena called “Heaven,” Spundae at Circus, Insomniac Events’ “Awakening” at Exchange LA, as well as the mighty Avalon Hollywood since 2010. It was in these rooms she honed her distinct sound.

Kristina Sky is revered for her unique style of high energy, melodic trance combined with her signature blend of deep & progressive house. Hailed as “one of the best progressive DJs in America,” by scene superstar John O’Callaghan, the top DJ/producers in the trance world are more than happy to sing her praises. “Kristina is living and breathing dance music,” says Dash Berlin. “Having finally met her in person on the Groove Cruise a few years ago proved to me that besides having a big heart for electronic music, she is an amazing and caring human being as well,” he says. “Kris has been there from the start, standing her ground firmly in a male-dominated industry, as where in the future she can be of great importance not only musically, but also on stage and in guiding new talent.”

In addition to her prowess on the ones-and-twos, she carefully crafts remixes and original tracks that have found their way into the hearts of both fans and fellow DJs. Her first release in 2006, “EnMass – CQ [Seek You] (Randy Boyer & Kristina Sky Remix)” debuted on Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance” imprint on his world-famous Armada label, plus received massive support from Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Agnelli & Nelson, John O'Callaghan, Darude, and Sander Van Doorn. The track then held the Beatport number 1 spot for 13 consecutive weeks, followed by another 10 weeks in the Top 10. She then teamed up with Boyer again for their 2008 hit on Paul Van Dyk’s “VANDIT” — “Kristina Sky & Randy Boyer - Set It Off”. Other production accomplishments include Randy Boyer & Kristina Sky ft. Cari Golden “No Limit” on Ultra Records. She’s also collaborated multiple times with Menno de Jong, such as on the Armada release “Signals.” In 2018 she was tapped to mix “Pure Trance Volume 7” which also featured a debut collaboration with Balearic king Roger Shah, “Ocean Flame”, and currently holds a spot on Solarstone’s globally respected “Pure Trance” roster alongside Solarstone, Factor B, Activa, Gai Barone and more, regularly playing the Pure Trance brand nights in London, Miami, Amsterdam, Las Vegas and beyond.

One of the genre’s original groundbreakers, Christopher Lawrence, has experienced many of KSky’s sets as both a fan and on the same lineups. “Kristina Sky is one of the most successful and respected DJs to rise out of the massive Los Angeles club and festival scene,” says Lawrence. “Having spent years in the trenches holding down residencies at multiple clubs and events including the world-famous Avalon in Hollywood, Kristina has earned her place in the international circuit.
