For number 89 of the series we turn to Croatian techno scene for Insolate. Together with Volster, another familiar name to the channel and podcast series, she co-hosts the TRAUM series of parties in her country. Apart from hosting, her production have seen the light on labels such as Symbolism and Modularz. With the signs here in the Netherlands slowly turning towards the opening of events and nightlife, this hour is the kick-start for front-left endeavors.

Insolate | Artaphine Series 089

The next artist stormed into many other artists DJ playlist by the end of last year. Perfo then released his debut EP on Wrong Assessment's AWRY. Five cuts that are aggressive of nature, but all coming from a different point of view. Whether it is building up the groove or approaching it with heavier sound design, the artist showed with his debut that he is not a one-trick pony.

Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: Modah

Morten Hansen has been a stable part of the danish techno scene in the past ten years, mainly producing music under the pseudonym Modah.
He has been running the Record Label TRTLNCK alongside Stephan Riesenfeld for the last few years, making vinyl releases and hosting parties on venues such as Ved Siden Af and Et Andet Sted.
Besides these, Morten has played in most of the venues in Copenhagen that feature electronic music and a few international gigs.
Morten and Stephan Riesenfeld are currently in the final steps of launching their new label "Evasion" focusing on the fast-paced, tooly, and melodic styles of techno that they love.

Fast Forward Audio Series #79: Modah

ANTIDOTE

'something that counteracts an unpleasant feeling or situation'

We're kicking off the year with a fresh mix by Locus Error, a techno DJ from Nijmegen, in which scene she has already made quite a name for herself. With her groovy, uplifting techno and bouncy basslines, she already won over many audiences. This she proves with her residencies for Planet Rose, Open Source Radio and BALANS, but also with performances for Thuishaven, Bauhauz and Artdictive in Radion.

Her performances show a passion for music that started as an 8-year-old cellist at a music school in Belgium. A passion that she expresses, among other things, in the event and record label BALANS that she runs together with Tripeo. It also shows in the way in which she has helped Soundlab, the first DJ and producer student association in the Netherlands, rise to a higher level.
Be enchanted by her musical, but no less gruesome techno beats!
