Introducing the new monthly mix series, founded by Hull-based DJ Cookie Tee, the WUBS (Women United By Sound) series aims to unite, uplift, and highlight the incredible women within the bass music scene.

While representation has undoubtedly improved in recent years, this is only part of the equation. It is clear that women in our scene still face challenges, and there is always room for continued progress. This is why I decided to start this series and give these women an extra place to be heard! 

This series will feature a carefully curated selection of talented DJs, ranging from emerging artists who deserve greater recognition, to more established DJs who are already hosting radio shows, streams, performing at events, and touring the globe. These women deserve both respect and recognition for their dedication and contribution to the craft.

The love of Bass music unites this collective of talented women, but the Girls don't stop there! They also express their creativity, celebrate diversity, and push boundaries.

Known for her electrifying sets and bold mixing style, she’s capturing attention across the rave and festival circuit with a sound well beyond her years. 

2025 marks a breakthrough year for Steady. She’s supported legendary names like Nicky Blackmarket, performed at the iconic Ministry of Sound in London, and brought her vibrant energy to festival stages nationwide. This July, she takes her sound international with debut performances in Ibiza. 

Whether streaming live from Lemz Studios, Buckle Bunker, Rough Tempo, or Code Red Radio—or hosting her monthly show on Pure FM—Steady delivers every set with raw energy and authenticity. No rehearsals, no pretense—just pure passion. 

Driven by a deep love for music and a mission to inspire, Steady aims to empower more young girls to step into the booth, especially in the traditionally male-dominated world of Drum & Bass. She's not chasing flawlessness—she’s embracing the learning process, growing in real time, and inviting everyone to join her journey.
