Seattle Doom Quintet

"Seattle’s improv ensemble Seattle Doom Quintet may be described as avant garde but their liberal usage of wit and melodic structure makes them quite acceptable to those who tend to avoid the atonal. In fact, their improvisatory meanderings do not sound all that free-style at times, leaning heavily to both jazz and rock. The mix of acoustic ensemble with electronic  effects keeps them interesting throughout these live recordings. This is certainly worth a listen."

I have enjoyed music since I was in my single digits, was in a band on tooth & nail records called Ninety Pound Wuss, also in a band called Raft of Dead Monkeys. Each of those bands released a few albums over the 3 or four years we played together. I currently have a band called Suffering & the Hideous Thieves, but we have not released anything since 2005. We are planning on making some music together again later in 2013. I am sure we will post some songs up here as the come together. I also have played in many bands at Mars Hill Church in Seattle where I am currently attending and serving. The one I was in the longest was called Team Strike Force.
