Kroon is a five-piece band from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands that combines hardcorepunk with metal and stoner.

The music of the band is known as 'rhythmical strong' and 'original' with fast D-beat drums, melodic stoner/metal riffs and quirky songwriting. With lyrics and a band name from its native language, Kroon stays true to its roots.

Kroon’s second, brand new album Wij Zijn De Aarde (translated: We Are The Earth) is released on the 30th of April 2015 on Bandcamp. The narrative, Dutch lyrics are about realising the origin and value of humanity, its surroundings and its mental health. With hardcore and metal guitar riffs and pounding drums in support of the powerful vocals, Wij Zijn De Aarde is a unique album in the hardcore scene.

Kroon played venues like Poppodium Romein and café Mukkes, on events like Freeze On Friday, Hardcore Woensdag and on festivals such as Frisian Hardcore Meeting II and Befrijdingsfestival 2015.
