The Tuba Twooz duo makes a welcome debut on Get Physical Music with a two-tracker that shows off their rich house sounds. 

Tuba Twooz is a live electronic project based between Moscow and Milan. They have established themselves with a nuanced house sound and electric DJ sets all over Europe. They have appeared on respected labels like Sol Selectas, The SoundGarden and Bar 25/Sirin and continue their fine form with this debut for Get Physical. 

The enchanting 'This Generation' opens up with a quiet sense of artistry. The deep house grooves are embellished with shimmering chords and whispered vocals that draw you in close. Carefully layered shakers, hits and muted melodies add to the richness of this most tender tune. 'People' is a more unhinged affair. It rides up and down a lumpy groove with sweeping chords and diving bass bringing real dynamism. This time the vocals are treated and twisted into wordless sounds and help add to the trippy nature of the groove. 

‘This Generation EP’ continues to mark out Tuba Twooz and their singular take on house music.

What happens if Damon Albarn happens to appear next to you in the Maras salt mines in the Sacred Valley of Peru?

A song that celebrates the unexpected. Pure Love is the result of a cosmic spark between DJ Koze and Damon Albarn. The encounter in the surreal salt ponds, was the initial spark from which this deep and unfathomably mystical treasure was born.

The shimmering of these two souls opens a window onto a nocturnal scene where the scents of oriental spices dance through the air and the stars twinkle above us. The sky has never been as beguiling as it is today.

Pure Love is available in a total of three versions, in addition to the original version there is also a Night Version and a Day Version. These versions vividly showcase the magical transformation that this song has undergone to reach its final album form. Through a mysterious metamorphosis, the raw power of the Night Version and the lucid harmonies of the Day Version blend into an otherworldly song, completing its journey from darkness into light.
