energy doesn't die

Nathan Carr, professionally known as "nateen" was born in Oldham, England in 2002. He studied at Hopwood Hall College in Middleton He currently still attends college as is soon to finish within the next year. Currently he is 18 years of age but has had a passion for music ever since he was a kid, growing up listening to "Bon Jovi", "Michael Jackson", "Green Day", "Lil Peep", "Juice WRLD"  and many more.

Pushing into his personal life growing up wasn't easy, his mum was barely home due to working all the time trying to keep a roof over there head as she was a single parent, on top of that his family was falling apart until its got to the point its just Nathan and his mum, nobody else, this all took place after his beloved grandma passed away, she sealed the family together, she was the rivet. It didn't make it much easier as she had dementia and some days when he went to visit her in the care home she was being looked after, she didn't even recognise him and couldn't speak which broke him but he knew she was still inside and knew who he was.

To escape all the upcoming drama he started making music, it was therapy.
On the 2nd of March 2021 he uploaded his first song to SoundCloud called "Helpless" he says it isn't the best but many people agree to disagree, its been a long 6 months for him but he's really enjoying this dream he is chasing to be an artist. He told me, "Its not for the money its not for the fame. I want to connect to people who feel the same way I do".
