Dubaptism is the latest brainchild of TechHead label owners John Karagiannis and PayLipService. Under this new moniker, the multifaceted duo sets off to explore the dub side of techno from their new studio in Berlin.
Their debut release includes two original tracks and remixes by profilic producer Nikola Gala and Istanbul's amazingly talented Havantepe. Dubaptism's first session will be out in a limited 300 copies.

"I don ´t specify my music. I simply play and produce what I love." And that's what Marcel Sterling alias Marc DePulse wants to tell us with his releases and podcasts: there is no box into which you must fit in because you are free in your mind to do whatever you love. Being real, being authentic, being a full time music lover. That means: go to bed and wake up with only music in your head. Whoever shed some tears while listening to emotional music can relate to what Marc is trying to achieve. It has to be music to remember and make a big impact. And that could be a melody, a baseline, steady percussion or strong vocals. Marc has already connected a lot of that love with his music. In more than a decade represented by the strongest labels (150+ releases) and performing on the biggest international stages, Marc has established as a unique producer and DJ. In 2014 he released his first single "No need to worry" on Noir Music. Another feature with the amazing Hollis P Monroe & Overnite has been released on Heinz Music. The single called "Dirty Deep DePulse" is a perfect name to describe Marcs sound. This year the shuffle machine continues with remixes on Noir Music, Katermukke, Traum Schallplatten, Heinz and single releases on Tulipa and Einmusika Recordings. According to these productions Marc started a brand new blog and podcast series called "How I Met The Bass".

3 QUESTIONS TO BRITTA ARNOLD:

Q: As the festival summer is already gone now: which was the biggest „night to remember“ for you?

 A: I had a lot of big nights. For example the Fusion Festival as I played on the main stage („Turmbuehne“) and it was so amazing! Still getting goosebumps when I think back on it. And for sure the Garbizc Festival in Poland was a highlight too aswell as the Kater birthday at KaterBlau Berlin. I really had a perfect festival summer with crazy nights and days.


Q: Which was the track that inspired you most the past years?

A: Oh there were so many great tracks from great artists. Denis Horvat is one of the best for me. Actually I love all of his productions, especially „Flawless“ and „Cedevita“. Also I´m a big fan of the productions from Sascha Cawa and Marcus Meinhardt. 

Q: After having your latest single release on KaterMukke this year - what´s coming up next?

A: End of October 2015 there will be a Heinz Music Compilation and I’m proud to be a part of it. Also I finished an EP with Lee Jones and I´m working on a new Katermukke release with Sascha Cawa and Dirty Doering. Other tracks are finished too but I´m not sure yet where they will be released.

Britta Arnold - HOW I MET THE BASS #10

The track titles on Kamikaze Space Programme’s latest offering for Mote Evolver are taken from the chilling techno-criticism and dystopian visions of the late J.G. Ballard’s fiction, a thinker whose work has always lent itself well to music on the razor’s edge of modernity. Keep in mind, though, that this is no simple tribute to that mastermind of speculative fiction, but a translation of his highwire suspense and hyper-modern aesthetics into rhythmic and incisive electronic music.

The leadoff track “High Rise” is an adrenalized and twitchy creation built around a shuddering bass riff and a cleverly corroded set of intense percussive hits, aided by elevator shaft ambience and what seem like eerily obscured vocal samples. In short, it’s the perfect backing music for a very cautious trudge through a tower block presided over by unnamed and ominous forces. The follow-up “Low Flying Aircraft” is another strong take on this affective mix of anxiety and release; its motif of tactile ‘slamming door’ percussion and metallic accents making listeners envision a labyrinthine complex full of rigidly enforced secrets and classified information.

“Concrete Island” maintains the intensity level and dense urban atmosphere of the A-side, pooling together numerous snatches of white noise, audio grit and alarm buzzes to form a demanding sound environment in which some distant ethereal touches are the only respite from the well-organized attack. The closing “Day of Creation” dials down the tempo, but certainly not the creativity and the drama, as deceptively delicate bell tones and tranquil synth pads compete with a uniquely springy industrial rhythm and floor-shaking low-end frequencies.

For those who are curious to hear the sounds of urban overload and dark dreams compressed into one coherent and captivating release, Kamikaze Space Programme has delivered in a big way with this EP. Fueled by the sensibility that the here-and-now is as strange and unpredictable as any science fiction, this music won’t disappoint anyone who still looks to techno as the music of new ideas.

Kryptonicadjs is an Italian DJ duo performing together for over 20 years. Their journey began in London during the late '90s, where they kicked off their careers with back-to-back sets.

After a few years in the UK, they returned to Italy before heading to Ibiza, where they played at various parties and expanded their sound. In 2007, they came back to Italy to launch their party series, GROOVA and GROOVALICIOUS MORNING.

By 2011, they founded their independent label, @https://soundcloud.com/kryptofabbrikk-records , followed by the creation of their radio show format, Into the Needle, in 2013.

In 2017, they introduced a new party concept called The Box, and from 2018 onwards, they began focusing more intensively on their label and music production.

Between 2019 and 2021, they relocated to Berlin, releasing music regularly on Kryptofabbrikk 
From 2021 to 2025, they moved to Tenerife, opened a new Label called  @HOTKFABBRIKK, and hosted their latest event series, The Lab, in both Milan and Tenerife.

Their unmistakable sound blends groove-heavy, vocal-driven jackin’ house with the hypnotic deep-tech vibes of their roots, creating a fresh, magnetic energy they call The Magic Vibe. Their musical range spans Chillhouse, Deephouse, House, Deeptech, and Techno.
