The highly respected and much loved doyens of disco Crazy P are curating a brand new series of records for 20/20 Vision, featuring a fine selection of exclusive tracks produced by some of their favourite artists. Although rooted in disco the project showcases the bands wide ranging and eclectic musical world, incorporating; balearic moments, downtempo beats, indie dance and electronica. The music will be spread over four vinyl records featuring bespoke artwork from Bristol based visual artist Victoria Topping, back illustrating for the band after creating several of their classic covers in the early years. The concept of the curation is to bring diverse like-minded artists together and re-invigorate the disco scene in the spirit of unity. 

Volume One features a brand new track from the Crazy P called ‘People (We Can Transform) sitting alongside a selection of disco dubs and stompers courtesy of Ashley Beedle, LA based ASHRR with Felix Dickinson on the remix and U.S funkateers Change Request & Saucy Lady. 

Vinyl will be distributed by Juno with digital released through Republic of Music coming Autumn 2022 with the series culminating in summer 2023.

Originally recorded in 2001 by Ugly Music label head Felix Dickinson, DJ Shakra and Blane Lyon People’s People now gets its release in Blane’s memory with remixes from Brother Lee Love, Crazy P and legendary Chicago House producer and DJ Ron Trent. Latter comes up with a steady groove as well as funky influences and infectious chords, which not only support the continuous funky vibes but also set the basis for Blane Lyon’s spoken vocals. Trent’s remix is an inevitable piece of groovey art stretching the moment of satisfiable funkiness to a eight and a half minutes and giving listeners the feeling of being captured in the beauty of the loop or rather in an everlasting House music beauty. 

Felix Dickinson's EP People's People will be released on Ugly Music on June 16th, 2023.

Lithuanian, Vilnius-based Midnattssoula is a label owner, DJ, radio host and party starter. He runs his own project Where Were We? (@where-were-we) for five years now and the show will be hosting its 125th guest next week.
The WWW label released its sixth release last year featuring the artist duo Azole. There's also been a remix package for the release with remixes from Romain Fx, Endrik Schroeder, Ivan Fabra and Black Feeling.
Various Artists compilation "Teleconnections" is planned to be released later this year, so keep your eyes (and ears) peeled for this one!

This evolution hasn't gone unnoticed, capturing the attention and support of esteemed figures like Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Folamour, The Blessed Madonna, Purple Disco Machine, Patrick Topping, Andhim, and Krystal Klear. These artists recognized his remarkable ability to weave a new narrative in the world of electronic music, where tradition meets innovation.

Storken's dynamic presence is equally felt in his performances, taking audiences on a journey that traverses the realms of nostalgia and futurism.
