Tech House Set April 2022

Ksenija Banković aka Dj XeNiA was born 1989, in Paris, France. 

When I was 6 years old my family and I moved to Belgrade, Serbia.

Working in a music industry always was my biggest dream and passion. I went to a music academy and school of singing, trying to figure out how to express myself. Something was missing. Belgrade is a city famous for its night life and I had to explore it.  I discovered an underground scene with all kinds of electronic music and fell in love in something so special and unique. 

Psychedelic trance is my favorite genre of music but I also enjoy listening Progressive trance, Progressive Tech - house, Minimal, Afro Tech - house music. 

When I became a part of this community, electronic music brought me various acquaintances, new people in my life, more developed consciousness, attending various music festivals of electronic music like Tree of life(Greece), Free Earth(Greece), Indian Spirit(Germany), Elysium(Serbia), Forest fest(Serbia), Exit festival (Serbia) and many others. That is exactly what won my heart, a new direction of music gave me my missing peace. Warm and friendly people with the same passion entered my life. That connection between us and energy that I felt made me realize what is my life call. 

Serbian trance artists like E-clip, Arhetip, Ectima, Zyce and Flegma had a big influence on me. Zentura, Zen mechanics, One function , Astrix, Ace Ventura, Son Kite, Phaxe, Liquid Soul are just few of many others artists that I love. When we talk about techno music performers I would single out Stan Kolev, Matan Caspi, Aglaia Rave(Cosmos Radio),  Yotto, Guy J, Julian Wassermann, Guy Mantzur, etc.

My biggest dream is to play on festivals, so my life motto and message for everyone is: “Follow your dreams and they come true.”

My plan is to work as much is possible and record my new sets for the people around the world, trying to bring happiness and positive spirit.
