I#  On the last hour, the masses weren't complaining about the underground sound, so we soldiered on. KsK keeps the 115BPM tempo but increases the pitch by dropping the likes of Baaz, Ron Trent, Julien Jabre and Pepe Pradock from the Golden era of Deep House. Following this structure, KsK could've continued for another 3 hours, the masses were appreciative and relaxed. Thanks to Lutz from Shisanyama Midrand for the patience and opportunity, we hope to do it again.

Dj KsK was discovered a few years too late by Khaya Simelane aka Kik-Ass-Kaia who suffers from a multiple personality disorder, which truth be told is how he usually discovers most things and his various personalities. Dj KsK who refuses to be classified as a dj, considers himself as an "Ambiance Co-ordinator" due to his strange celestial tunes pulling you through different atmospheres.He finds dee-jaying / co-ordinating ambience as fun and is always delighted to find people who will pay for it.
His love for an extremely wide range of sophisticated sound comes through on his mixtapes and sets.If he’s not talking crap, or sitting behind the PC writing and breaking code to fund his extensive beer habit and rare collection of music from all over the world. You’ll find him listening to Baroque or Classical jazz, Down-tempo and Reggae, which explains his sets that emanate a depth and understanding in music from many genres.
He is one of the pioneers of the Brooklyn Knights in Pretoria, Deep Soul Groover in Newcastle, Deep Sounds Of Silence in Vryheid. As an extremist deep house dj, K.S.K has impressively established himself as a lounge, Nu-jazz and mellow Soulful sounds dj. He has played almost everywhere where deep house is appreciated in Gauteng, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Germany (Munich).
I wouldn’t recommend him to a club scene or a peak hour slot in a dance environment due to his uncompromising egotistic attitude. He will take cash, major credit cards and perform streap-tease for contributions to his beer fund and music collection.
KsK occasionally, holds a monthly residency @ COFI Brooklyn (S.A. Pretoria) and Shisanyama Midrand(Last Sunday) together with the Brooklyn Knights, which is why catching the KsK set, is a unique and a not-to-be missed event for musically inclined masses.
