Hello 2025! Phoenix Recording's first release of the new year comes from FRANK DUEFFEL, one of the longest standing label residents. His powerful melodic track KUKULKAN is an Uplifting Trance beauty and a perfect way to start the new year with.

The Cologne, Germany based DJ/producer needs no further introduction anymore (we think). With his amazing music he placed himself in the hearts of the Trance community and we hope he will do so for many years to come.

Kukulkan (lit. plumed or amazing Serpent), is the serpent deity of the Mayan and Aztec mythology. Prominent temples to Kukulkan are found at archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula. The depiction of the feathered Serpent is present in other cultures of Mesoamerica. Although heavily Mexicanised, Kukulkan has its origins among the Maya of the Classic Period. Part of the new wave of Parisian techno producers, KRYST is one of those artists who loves to experiment with different styles and create hybrids between existing genres, blurring the lines between rave, mental, acid and industrial atmospheres. He recently launched an acid alias, Parallel Reflection, in order to try his hand at the now-legendary TB 303.
